NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Scott Gilkey Jr. ran for two touchdowns including the game winner in double overtime and Eastern Illinois defeated Tennessee State 19-16 on Saturday night.

Lane Clark's 51-yard field goal for Tennessee State knotted the game at 10 with 3:18 left in regulation to force the extra session. Both teams traded field goals in the first overtime.

Clark connected on a 40-yard field to start the second overtime before Gilkey's 1-yard touchdown run gave Eastern Illinois (2-2, 1-0 Ohio Valley) the win. Gilkey ran for 104 yards on 25 carries and threw for 46 yards and an interception.

Gilkey's first score came with 12:25 left in the first quarter on a 9-yard touchdown run for a 7-0 Panthers lead. Eastern Illinois held the ball for 46 minutes.

Treon Harris led Tennessee State (3-1, 0-1) on 12-of-17 passing for 119 yards and 11 carries for 67 yards.
