Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Paces team in scoring
Reeves logged 20 points (8-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds and a block in 39 minutes during Sunday's 115-100 loss to the Thunder.
Reeves was able to put together a solid offensive performance Sunday despite missing all four of his three-point attempts. The rookie guard had an impressive conclusion to the season, scoring in double figures in each of his final eight appearances. In those contests, he averaged 16.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 32.6 minutes per game.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Back in starting lineup
Reeves will start Sunday's game against the Thunder.
After starting five of the previous six games, Reeves operated off the bench Friday, but his role didn't change much. Over his last seven appearances, Reeves has averaged 16.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.7 minutes per game.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Solid outing off bench
Reeves ended Friday's 153-104 loss to the Heat with 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 34 minutes.
Despite moving to the bench in Friday's blowout loss, Reeves still logged 34 minutes of action due to New Orleans dealing with a long list of injuries. The rookie guard has shot the ball efficiently from behind the arc across his last 10 outings, converting 45.6 percent of his 5.7 three-point attempts per contest.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Heads to bench Friday
Reeves won't start Friday's game against the Heat.
With Jose Alvarado (calf) cleared to play and in the starting lineup, Reeves shifts to a bench role, and Elfrid Payton sticks with the first unit. Reeves has scored in double figures in two of his past three appearances off the bench.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Plays well in start
Reeves ended Thursday's 136-111 loss to the Bucks with 16 points (5-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists and three steals across 37 minutes.
Reeves continues to step up for the shorthanded Pelicans, and he's gaining steam as a fantasy streamer. Over his last four games, Reeves has seen 31.7 minutes per night with 16.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 3.3 three-pointers on 38.6 percent shooting from the field.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Matches team lead in scoring
Reeves contributed 17 points (5-14 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 119-114 loss to the Nets.
Reeves tied for the team lead in scoring with Karlo Matkovic on Tuesday. Over his last five games, Reeves has averaged 15.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 3.4 three-pointers on 45.7 percent shooting from deep in 30.0 minutes. With four regular members of the Pelicans' first unit done for the year, Reeves has a clear pathway to a starting role the rest of the way.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Goes for 23 points Sunday
Reeves had 23 points (8-18 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 37 minutes during Sunday's 111-107 loss to the Bucks.
Reeves is one of the players who has been embracing a more significant role on offense for a depleted Pelicans roster, and the second-round pick of the 2024 NBA Draft has been making the most of the opportunity. Aside from starting for the third time in the Pelicans' last four games, Reeves is logging a solid 27.3 minutes per game over his previous six contests while averaging 13.7 points per game in that stretch.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Will start Sunday
Reeves will be in the starting lineup for the Pelicans on Sunday against the Bucks.
Reeves will be a starter for New Orleans for a third time this season. In his two previous starts, the rookie guard averaged 13.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, shooting 55.0 percent overall and 55.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Strikes for 16 in first NBA start
Reeves ended Sunday's 98-94 victory over the Hornets with 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-5 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes.
With CJ McCollum (foot), Zion Williamson (back) and Jordan Hawkins (back) all sidelined, Reeves made his first career start and was able to make an impact from three-point range. The rookie guard has seen his workload increase dramatically during the last week due to the Pelicans' injury-ravaged backcourt, and over the last three games, he's averaged 23.7 minutes while producing 12.7 points, 3.0 threes, 2.3 boards and 1.3 assists. With Dejounte Murray (Achilles), Trey Murphy (shoulder) and Herbert Jones (shoulder) all done for the rest of the season, Reeves should see enough court time down the stretch to have some DFS appeal.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Making first NBA start Sunday
Reeves is in the Pelicans' starting lineup against the Hornets on Sunday.
The rookie second-round pick out of Kentucky has seen his playing time off the bench increase as of late, and he'll be in the starting lineup Sunday for the first time in his NBA career. Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Drains five threes in Monday's win
Reeves recorded 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench during Monday's 112-99 victory over Philadelphia.
The five treys were a career high for the rookie guard, who got some extended run after Jordan Hawkins (ankle) was forced from the contest in the third quarter. Reeves could take on a more consistent role in the Pelicans' backcourt if Hawkins' injury proves to be serious. Reeves has scored in double digits with multiple three-pointers in each of the last three times he's played 20-plus minutes in a game.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Rejoins parent club
New Orleans recalled Reeves from the G League's Birmingham Squadron on Sunday.
With CJ McCollum (rest) and Zion Williamson (conditioning) unavailable for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Reeves will rejoin the Pelicans and could be featured in the rotation. When McCollum and Williamson both rested in a 125-108 loss to the Suns back on Feb. 28, Reeves played 21 minutes off the bench and scored 11 points while adding two rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Pelicans' Antonio Reeves: Sticks in rotation Wednesday
Reeves ended Wednesday's 119-111 loss to Sacramento with eight points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and one steal over 18 minutes.
Reeves remained in the rotation, playing at least 15 minutes for the third straight game. After barely playing to begin his career, it appears as though the Pelicans have decided to at least give him an opportunity to experience the NBA up close. Having now lost 10 straight games, it makes sense for them to lean into their youth.

The Pelicans recalled Reeves from the G League's Birmingham Squadron on Saturday.
Reeves will rejoin the parent club ahead of its matchup against the Nuggets on Monday. Despite being a member of the Pelicans' 15-man roster, the 24-year-old has seen little playing time at the NBA level of late with just two appearances since the beginning of January.

Reeves produced 34 points (14-25 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 128-100 loss to Cleveland.
Reeves led all players in Wednesday's contest on the offensive end, connecting on a team-best mark from three while concluding as the lone player in the contest with at least 30 points in a losing effort. Reeves set new career highs in threes made and points scored, and he has tallied at least two threes in two straight outings.
