EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) Josh Reaves had 24 points in Mount St. Mary's 96-79 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday night.

Reaves was 9 of 15 shooting (6 for 10 from 3-point range) for the Mountaineers (11-13, 7-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Dakota Leffew scored 20 points and added eight rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Deshayne Montgomery was 4 of 6 shooting and 6 of 7 from the free throw line to finish with 15 points.

The Bobcats (19-5, 11-2) were led in scoring by Matt Balanc, who finished with 19 points and two steals. Quinnipiac also got 16 points from Rihards Vavers. Amarri Tice also had 15 points and seven rebounds. The Bobcats broke a 10-game winning streak with the loss.

Mount St. Mary's next game is Friday against Rider on the road, and Quinnipiac hosts Niagara on Sunday.
