EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) Jordan Sears scored 34 points as UT Martin beat SIU-Edwardsville 90-79 on Saturday night.

Sears also contributed six assists and three steals for the Skyhawks (14-9, 7-3 Ohio Valley Conference). Jacob Crews added 23 points while shooting 8 for 14 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 4 of 6 from the free throw line, and he also had 11 rebounds. Issa Muhammad shot 5 of 9 from the field and 3 for 7 from the line to finish with 13 points, while adding seven rebounds and five assists.

The Cougars (13-10, 6-4) were led in scoring by Shamar Wright, who finished with 26 points and six rebounds. Damarco Minor added 19 points and eight assists for SIU-Edwardsville. In addition, Lamar Wright had 18 points, seven rebounds and two steals.

UT Martin's next game is Tuesday against Little Rock on the road, and SIU-Edwardsville visits Morehead State on Thursday.
