FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) Patrick Cartier's 14 points helped Colorado State defeat UMKC 84-61 on Friday night.

Cartier was 5 of 10 shooting (3 for 6 from 3-point range) for the Rams (4-0). Nique Clifford scored 13 points, going 5 of 5 from the field. Joel Scott shot 2 of 2 from the field and 8 for 12 from the line to finish with 12 points.

Anderson Kopp led the way for the Kangaroos (2-2) with 14 points, nine rebounds and six assists. UMKC also got 11 points from Allen David Mukeba Jr.. Cameron Faas also put up 10 points.
