BOSTON (AP) Kassius Robertson had five 3-pointers and 19 points and Canisius defeated Boston University 87-77 Wednesday night.

Jermaine Crumpton and Isaiah Reese added 16 points each and Phil Valenti and Kiefer Douse 12 apiece as five Golden Griffins (4-5) scored in double figures for the first time since Jan. 2, 2016.

The Terriers (4-5), who have lost four straight, suffered their first home loss this season after four wins.

Spencer Foley scored all eight of his points and Robertson six, including a 3-pointer at the buzzer, in a 19-4 run to end the second half with a 48-35 lead.

The Griffins built a 16-point lead before BU cut it to two but wouldn't catch up. Cedric Hankerson's 3-pointer got BU within 82-77 with a minute left but Malik Johnson made four free throws, his only points, and then a steal that Douse turned into a dunk and 10-point lead.

Hankerson scored 18 points.
