    Analysis

    While Tennessee has trended to the under recently (4-1 in their last five), this could be an opponent that speeds them up and allows for some more offensive success than what the Vols had at the start of their comeback win against Auburn. It took awhile for star freshman Nate Ament to heat up in his return to the lineup for Tennessee, but eventually he wore down the Tigers’ defense to finish with a team-high 27 points. These two teams played less than a week ago and it was an 86-82 game played at Vanderbilt’s pace, so anything under 150 seems like a fair play.

    Analysis

    The No. 3-seeded Golden Hurricane have won five straight (4-1 ATS) entering this American Conference Tournament quarterfinal. They split with North Texas during the regular season, winning the more recent matchup 82-66 at home. The Mean Green have won three in a row, including Thursday's 74-70 tourney win over Florida Atlantic. Tulsa is a highly efficient offensive team that went 8-4 away from home. Look for the Golden Hurricane to thrive in this neutral setting.

    Analysis

    I have only given out one total this season. It was Florida-Arkansas when I thought the opening line was off by 5-6 points. We have another example here. Wisconsin-Illinois opened 154.5 at DK and BetMGM. I think it closes around 159. The last 5 meetings have finished with totals of 182, 169, 166, 180 and 174 points. Wisconsin already played in this gym and scored 85. Illinois should get whatever it wants near the rim. They shot 63% in the first meeting. These are also the two best free throw shooting teams in the Big 10. Play up to 157.5

    Analysis

    St, Bonnie has ridden an emotional wave through two A-10 Tournament wins -- trying to extend the career of longtime coach Mark Schmidt, who is being forced to resign. The fairytale should end here. The Bonnies have used a seven-man rotation in tourney games and might be leg-weary. Darryl Simmons and Dasonte Bowen never got a blow Thursday, and they sat for just a combined four minutes Wednesday. Rested Dayton knows it needs an A-10 title to reach the NCAA tourney. The teams are comparable offensively, but the Flyers are clearly better on defense, having yielded five fewer points per game.

    Analysis

    Less than a week ago Kentucky was mounting a furious charge in a game it never led to cut a 20-point second half deficit down to only seven by the final horn. The Wildcats will have a good crowd on hand, as they usually do for the SEC Tournament, but the Gators have been outstanding away from home and Todd Golden is building a reputation as a good SEC Tournament coach with a 6-2 record in the event. I’m thinking the gap between these two teams on a neutral court is a little bit closer to that 20-point lead Florida built over 30 minutes in Rupp Arena last weekend.
