Ingram was claimed off waivers by St. Louis on Friday and will report to Triple-A Memphis, John Denton of MLB.com reports. Ingram will join his fourth team of the calendar year, making previous stops with the Tigers, Mets and Rangers before ending up with St. Louis. Rangers' Kolton Ingram: Dropped from 40-man roster
The Rangers designated Ingram for assignment Wednesday. Ingram was cast off the 40-man roster after the Rangers needed to open up a spot for outfielder/designated hitter Robbie Grossman, whom the team acquired from the White Sox on Wednesday. After being claimed off waivers from the Mets on April 24, Ingram didn't make any appearances for Texas, as he had been pitching in relief at Triple-A Round Rock. Mets' Kolton Ingram: DFA'd by New York
The Mets designated Ingram for assignment Saturday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports. The move corresponds with the Mets calling up Tomas Nido from Triple-A Syracuse while placing Francisco Alvarez (thumb) on IL. Ingram was optioned to Syracuse in spring training, and he has allowed four runs on five hits and six walks while striking out three over five innings with the affiliate to start the season. Mets' Kolton Ingram: Sent to Triple-A
The Mets optioned Ingram to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports. Ingram was one of 10 Mets players dispatched to minor-league camp in the first round of spring training cuts. The 27-year-old lefty reliever was claimed off waivers from the Tigers in February and retains a spot on the 40-man roster, so he could be a candidate to join the Mets' bullpen at some point in 2024.... Ingram was designated for assignment by the Angels on Monday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports. Ingram is giving up his spot on the Halos' 40-man roster for Aaron Hicks, who was signed Monday. The 27-year-old reliever posted an 8.44 ERA in 5.1 innings for the Angels in 2023, but he struck out seven after fanning 77 batters over 61 frames between Double-A Rocket City and Triple-A Salt Lake. Ingram was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday. Ingram allowed a run over two innings during Saturday's blowout win in Colorado and will now make his way back to the minors. Angels' Kolton Ingram: Recalled from Double-A
The Angels recalled Ingram from Double-A Rocket City on Thursday. Ingram has fared well in Double-A this season, putting up a 2.63 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through 27.1 frames and has two saves on the season. However, he's yet to play beyond the Double-A level, so the Angels will likely use him out of the bullpen sparingly early on.
