Gordon isn't in the Marlins' lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cubs.
The Marlins will face left-hander Shota Imanaga in Game 2, so the lefty-hitting Gordon will step out of the lineup. Bryan De La Cruz will man left field while Gordon sits, moving Josh Bell into DH duties, Emmanuel Rivera over to first base and Otto Lopez to third.
