As Clash at the Castle draws near, the world heavyweight championship match for the event finally has a bit of steam after WWE Raw on Monday night. In the final moments of the show, champion Damian Priest put challenger Drew McIntyre through the commentary desk.

The moment came after a McIntyre attack on Priest following the champ's win over Rey Mysterio backfired. McIntyre was able to fend off the rest of Judgment Day but found himself at the mercy of Priest.

Priest's show-closing chokeslam was the last of several key moments for The Judgment Day throughout the night as the group was the main focus of Monday night's event.

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from GIANT Center in Hershey, Pa.

The Judgement Day dominate Raw, culminating in Damian Priest driving Drew McIntyre through a table

Damian Priest def. Rey Mysterio via pinfall with a South of Heaven from the middle rope. All of Judgment Day -- and Carlito -- got involved. Dragon Lee ran in to try and run Carlito off but got attacked as well. After the match, Drew McIntyre ran in and attacked Priest. After running through all of Judgment Day, McIntyre cleared off the commentary desk but Priest was the man who utilized it, sending McIntyre through the desk with a chokeslam as the show went off the air.

Liv Morgan addressed kissing Dominik Mysterio to kick off the show. Morgan said that she wanted to take everything away from Rhea Ripley, and that includes Mysterio. Mysterio interrupted, saying Ripley would kill Morgan when she returns, leading Morgan to say that Ripley would kill him too but it would be worth it. Finn Balor interrupted to put a stop to the whole thing. Balor confronted Mysterio backstage about not doing anything to stop Morgan and Priest entered to confirm that Ripley will not be happy.

Finn Balor def. Dragon Lee via pinfall with the Coup de Grace. JD McDonagh and Carlito ran distraction to help Balor get the victory. After the match, Rey Mysterio and Braun Strowman ran in to make the save. Priest confronted Judgment Day after the match, saying someone needed to handle "the Strowman problem," telling Carlito to ask Adam Pearce for a match with Strowman.

Braun Strowman def. Carlito via pinfall with a reverse chokeslam. This was Carlito following through on Priest's demands he deal with Strowman. The Judgment Day attacked Strowman after the match, eventually leading to Morgan saving Mysterio by standing between him and Strowman. Judgment Day jumped Strowman from behind, with McDonagh driving chair shots into Strowman's knee.

This felt like a show that really drove home how little star power Raw has with several stars sidelined. While the matches were fine, the stakes felt very low and Judgment Day's members just aren't an act that can carry the show on their own at this point. The build to Money in the Bank has started even before we hit Clash at the Castle, which finally has a little juice after the show-ending angle. But none of this felt important. In fact, Morgan kissing Dominik Mysterio was treated as being as important as anything else on the show and that's a classic midcard angle. Grade: C-

What else happened on WWE Raw?

Ludwig Kaiser def. Sheamus via pinfall with a roll-up. Kaiser attacked Sheamus before the match, attacking his knee. The knee was constantly a factor in the match before Kaiser kicked Sheamus off the middle rope and pulled in a tight pin for the victory.

Sami Zayn called out Chad Gable to settle the issues between them. This eventually brought out Gable and all of Alpha Academy. Zayn attempted to get the other members to abandon Gable but Gable attacked from behind. Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri both attempted to stop Gable but he berated them before Otis stepped in and stared Gable down. While Otis spoke to Tozawa and Dupri on the ring apron, Gable sent Zayn crashing into Otis, who then knocked Durpi and Tozawa to the floor. Otis fell for Gable's claim that Zayn was to blame and delivered a power slam to Gable before carrying both Dupri and Tozawa to the back.

Bron Breakker def. Ricochet via pinfall with a spear. After the match, Breakker continued his assault until Ilja Dragunov intervened, sending Breakker crashing over the barricade.

Kiana James def. Natalya via pinfall with the 401K.

Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair def. Zoey Stark & Shayna via disqualification after Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre ran in after Belair hit Stark with the KOD.

Jey Uso cut a promo during which he said he intended to win Money in the Bank.

Lyra Valkyria was attacked backstage by Iyo Sky after Valkyria said she had her sights set on Money in the Bank.

Authors of Pain def. New Day via pinfall with a combination neckbreaker and powerbomb on Kofi Kingston. Karrion Kross again attempted to convince Xavier Woods to leave Kingston and join them.
