The second round of the 2025 NCAA Women's Tournament has reached its conclusion, and the game to remember was Maryland vs. Alabama. The Terrapins outlasted the Crimson Tide 111-108 in double-overtime, advancing to the Sweet 16 despite Sarah Ashlee Barker scoring an Alabama record 45 points.

Reigning national champion South Carolina advanced to its 11th consecutive Sweet 16 by overcoming a confident Indiana team while No. 1 overall seed UCLA survived a scare from No. 8 seed Richmond. The game was tied at the half, but the Bruins broke the game open in the third quarter and prevailed, 84-67.

The other No. 1 seeds, USC and Texas, took the stage on Monday. It was another strong defensive performance for Texas, as the Longhorns forced 20 turnovers in a 65-48 win over Illinois. USC also won in blowout fashion, cruising past Mississippi State 96-59 despite a first-quarter injury to star JuJu Watkins

After No. 10 Oregon suffered a six-point loss to No. 2 Duke on Sunday, No. 10 South Dakota State was the only double-digit seed remaining as Monday's action began, but the Jackrabbits were blown out by UConn, 91-57, on the Huskies' home floor.

Despite all of the double-digit seeds being eliminated, this year there are several dangerous teams that are serious contenders outside of the No. 1 seeds.

An interesting wrinkle to the women's tournament as opposed to the men is that the highest seed in the four-team pods plays host for the first weekend. Then, two cities -- Birmingham, Alabama, and Spokane, Washington -- will host the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight before the remaining teams head to Florida for the Final Four and national championship game in Tampa.

Below is all the information you'll need to keep up with the action. Be sure to check back in on this page as it will be updated with matchups and tip times over the next three weeks.
