  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Contributes helper in win

Blake logged a power-play assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Ducks. Blake has three helpers over his last four contests. The 21-year-old winger's goal drought is up to 21 contests, though he has a decent nine assists in that span. He's a top-line winger currently, though his offense doesn't match that assignment fully. Blake is up to 25 points, 121 shots on net and a plus-10 rating through 70 appearances and continues to show overall growth in his rookie year, even if the offense hasn't fully come through yet.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Assists in consecutive games

Blake notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Sharks. Blake has a helper in each of the last two games. The 21-year-old looks to be getting more comfortable alongside Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis on the top line, though Blake is most at risk of losing that spot should head coach Rod Brind'Amour shuffle his lines. For the season, Blake has 24 points, 113 shots on net, 30 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 68 appearances in his rookie campaign.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Delivers two assists

Blake collected two assists in Sunday's 2-1 overtime win over the Flames. Blake assisted on both goals in Sunday's win, and the 21-year-old rookie continues to find ways to make an impact in his first full year in the NHL. He's up to 11 goals, as well as 11 assists, across 61 contests while also posting a plus-4 rating, 96 shots and 26 PIM.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Picks up two helpers in win

Blake collected two assists in Saturday's 7-3 win over Utah. The 21-year-old rookie skated in the top six again and featured on the top power-play unit for an injury-depleted Carolina roster, notably missing Mikko Rantanen (lower body). Blake has taken advantage of his opportunities of late, producing a goal and six points over the last eight games, but the Hurricanes could be a lot healthier on the other side of the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off, which might bump Blake into a lesser role.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Scores after promotion to top line

Blake scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights. Blake has been on the fourth line for much of the season, but he moved up to play alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov at even strength in this contest. The move paid off, as Blake scored for just the second time in 10 games when he put the Hurricanes ahead 2-1 early in the third period. The 21-year-old rookie has 10 goals, four assists, 65 shots on net and 20 PIM over 46 appearances. He'll be worth a look in deeper fantasy formats as long as he remains on the top line, though his 14:06 of ice time Friday suggests his role won't dramatically increase right away.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Nets game-winner Thursday

Blake scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs. Blake tallied at 4:58 of the second period, and his goal put the Hurricanes ahead for good. This was his fifth game-winner among nine goals over 42 appearances. The 21-year-old rookie has added four assists, 60 shots on net, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating. Blake has mainly played on the fourth line, with an average of 11:45 of ice time this season, though he's played 12:35 per game since the holiday break.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Tallies on power play

Blake scored a power-play goal on four shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Devils. Blake has enjoyed playing the Devils this year, earning three points over the four-game season series. The 21-year-old forward is up to eight goals, four assists, 56 shots on net, 18 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 36 outings overall. He has a point in each of the last two contests and may be gaining a bit of momentum near the midpoint of the season, though his fourth-line role will likely continue to limit his output.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Garners apple in defeat

Blake was credited with an assist in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Devils. Blake registered the primary helper on Eric Robinson's ninth goal of the season to open the scoring in the first period. Blake earned his first point across 11 games in December. The 21-year-old has a spot on the No. 2 power-play unit, but his lack of consistent production lately can be attributed to his fourth-line role. Blake's 16:21 of ice time Friday was the most he has received since Nov. 20. The North Dakota native has recorded seven goals and 11 points through 35 outings. Blake will attempt to keep the positive momentum rolling in Saturday's rematch against the Devils.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Struggling in December

Blake has gone 11 games without a point dating back to Nov. 30. The 21-year-old remains in a fourth-line role, but the absence of Jack Drury (hand) appears to have taken the wind out of Blake's sails. Blake isn't a huge part of the Hurricanes' offense anyway, but he has done alright with 10 points, 49 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 34 appearances. He does not appear to be at risk of losing his spot in the lineup, as the team is carrying just 12 healthy forwards.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Power-play tally in win

Blake scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Senators. Blake's goal stretched the Hurricanes' lead to 3-0 in the third period. The 21-year-old rookie is getting an opportunity on the top power-play unit while seeing fourth-line usage at even strength, so he's worth consideration in deeper formats. He snapped a four-game point drought with his first career power-play point, and he's now at five goals, two assists, 30 shots on net and a plus-3 rating over 16 appearances this season.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Scores again Tuesday

Blake scored a goal in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Flyers. The goal was Blake's fourth point in the last five games, as the Hurricanes' fourth line got them on the board at 14:25 of the first period. The 21-year-old rookie has done well in a limited role with six points, 18 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over 11 appearances. He's picked up at least one shot on goal in all but one game so far, and he remains on the second power-play unit despite failing to record a point with that group.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Tallies in Thursday's win

Blake scored a goal, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Bruins. Blake tipped home a Dmitry Orlov shot at 17:52 of the first period as part of a stretch of three goals in 52 seconds for the Hurricanes. Blake has gotten on the scoresheet in three straight games (one goal, two assists). The 21-year-old rookie is up to five points, 16 shots on net, six PIM and a plus-1 rating through nine outings. He's averaged 10:48 of ice time, but he's firmly in a fourth-line role with the Hurricanes carrying just 12 healthy forwards.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Back with big club

Blake was recalled from AHL Chicago on Sunday. As expected, Blake's demotion to the minors was a temporary move. He has recorded two goals, 12 shots on net and one hit in four appearances with Carolina this season. Blake will likely occupy a fourth-line role and get time on the second power-play unit against Edmonton on Tuesday.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Sent back to AHL

Blake was loaned to AHL Chicago on Sunday. It could very well just be a paper move, as Blake has two goals in his first four NHL games. The 21-year-old winger could rejoin the Hurricanes ahead of their next contest Tuesday in Edmonton.

  • Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Scores in back-to-back games

Blake scored a goal on three shots while adding four penalty minutes and a hit in Friday's 4-1 win over Pittsburgh. Blake evened things up midway through the first period, roughly one minute after the Penguins opened the scoring via Drew O'Connor, and this was the youngster's second goal in as many outings. A fourth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, Blake has two goals in four NHL appearances throughout his career, and while the small-sample size rule applies here, he's undoubtedly opening the season in a good run of form.
