Stars' Scott Reedy: Picked up by Stars
Reedy was acquired by Dallas from San Jose on Friday in exchange for Jacob Peterson. Reedy has five goals and 13 points in 38 games with the AHL's Barracuda in 2022-23. He hasn't played in the NHL this season, but he did score seven goals and nine points in 35 contests with the Sharks in 2021-22. Dallas plans to assign Reedy to AHL Texas.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Pots goal in loss
Reedy scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Ducks. Reedy's only shot of the game came on a pass from Jaycob Megna, bringing the Sharks within a goal. It's been a solid stretch to end the campaign for Reedy -- he has four goals and an assist in his last eight outings. The 23-year-old is up to eight points, 31 shots on net and a minus-5 rating in 33 appearances in a bottom-six role.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Lights lamp twice
Reedy scored a pair of goals, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets. Reedy has shown a willingness to get to the net when he's in the lineup, and he was rewarded for his efforts Tuesday. The 23-year-old has three goals in his last four games. The Minnesota native is up to five tallies, one assist, 30 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 29 contests overall, mainly playing on the fourth line.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Scores on pinball goal
Reedy scored a power-play goal on three shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Coyotes. The puck bounced off a few bodies in front, with Reedy ultimately judged to be the last Shark to touch it before it went in at 12:15 of the first period. He's picked up two of his three points this season in the last two games. The 22-year-old has added 15 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating in 19 appearances, mainly as a fourth-liner when he's in the lineup.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Gathers helper in win
Reedy notched an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Ducks. Reedy had the secondary assist on a Marc-Edouard Vlasic goal in the first period. The 22-year-old Reedy has been a regular presence in the Sharks' lineup, but he's been limited to two points in his last 13 games. That's all the offense the rookie forward has mustered in 18 appearances this season, and he's added 12 shots on net, a minus-3 rating and 15 blocked shots in a bottom-six role.... See More ... Sharks' Scott Reedy: Nets first NHL goal
Reedy scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Kraken. Reedy tallied at 7:15 of the second period, shortly after the Kraken had a potential tiebreaking goal taken off the board. This was his first NHL goal, and it was also the game-winner. The 22-year-old has added four shots on net, three hits, five blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in six appearances, playing mainly as a bottom-six option. It's unclear if Reedy will remain in the lineup once Andrew Cogliano (personal) returns.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Joins NHL roster
Reedy was promoted from AHL San Jose on Sunday. With Rudolfs Balcers (upper body) landing on injured reserve, Reedy was called up to fill the empty roster spot. The 22-year-old has been held scoreless through five NHL games so far this season. He'll dress in a middle-six role Sunday against Seattle.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Sent to AHL San Jose
Reedy was sent down to the minors Wednesday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Reedy is pointless in five games this season while registering just two shots, one hit and a minus-2 rating while averaging 10:27 of ice time. The 22-year-old center will link up with the Barracuda for a clash with AHL Tucson on Wednesday then will likely rejoin the taxi squad ahead of Thursday's game against the Rangers.... See More ... Sharks' Scott Reedy: Joins taxi squad
Reedy was assigned to the taxi squad Tuesday, per CapFriendly. Reedy will stay with the Sharks, but he'll need to be recalled if they want to put him in the lineup. The 22-year-old has no points through five appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Elevated to active roster
Reedy was promoted to the Sharks main roster Tuesday. Reedy was called up in light of the vacancy created by Logan Couture (COVID-19) and Lane Pederson's (COVID-19) placement within the league's virus protocols. The 22-year-old has tallied 14 goals and nine assists through 23 contests with AHL San Jose in the 2021-22 season. The Minnesota-born center was held without a point and averaged nine minutes of ice time through his two NHL appearances back in November.... See More ... See Less -
Sharks' Scott Reedy: Moved to taxi squad
Reedy was promoted to the Sharks' taxi squad Monday, per CBSSports.com. Reedy has appeared in just two games for San Jose this season.
