  • Sabres' Ethan Prow: Sent to AHL

The Sabres reassigned Prow to AHL Rochester on Friday.

  • Sabres' Ethan Prow: Added to NHL roster

The Sabres recalled Prow from the taxi squad prior to Wednesday's game against New Jersey.

  • Sabres' Ethan Prow: Hits waivers

Prow was waived by the Sabres on Tuesday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.

At 28 years of age, Prow still hasn't appeared in an NHL contest, and that likely isn't going to change in 2021-22. The blueliner did, however, rack up nine goals and 32 points through 42 games with AHL Springfield last season.

  • Sabres' Ethan Prow: Signs with Buffalo

Prow signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Sabres on Thursday.

Prow spent the 2020-21 campaign with Munich EHC of the DEL, picking up four goals and 20 points while posting a plus-18 rating in 26 games. The 28-year-old blueliner will likely get an opportunity to make Buffalo's Opening Night roster in training camp, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend most, if not all of the 2021-22 season in the minors.

  • Panthers' Ethan Prow: Heads overseas on loan

Prow was sent to EHC Red Bull Munchen on loan Thursday.

Prow registered 32 points in 42 games for AHL Springfield last season but with several AHL teams not playing this year, the Panthers needed to move the 28-year-old blueliner overseas. While he does have some offensive upside, if Prow hasn't cracked an NHL roster at this point, he is unlikely to do so for any significant time moving forward.
