Gustavsson recorded a 24-save shutout in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Kraken. Gustavsson was on the wrong side of a shutout in Vancouver on Thursday, but his luck was better this time around. The 25-year-old is up to two shutouts this season and five in his career. Gustavsson improved to 6-7-2 with a 3.05 GAA and a .900 save percentage over 16 games. This was his fourth win in five outings, and he's starting to hold a significant edge over Marc-Andre Fleury in playing time. The Wild have just two games over the next seven days, hosting the Flames on Thursday and the Canucks on Saturday.... See More ... See Less

Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Guarding cage in Seattle
Gustavsson will get the starting nod for Sunday's road tilt against the Kraken, Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. After some early struggles, Gustavsson has settled in over the last month. Over his last eight outings, the 25-year-old owns a strong .920 save percentage while allowing three or fewer goals in each game, though he's just 3-4-1 during that span. Gustavsson sits at 5-7-2 with an .894 save percentage and a 3.26 GAA through 15 appearances overall.... See More ... See Less -
Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Little work but no luck in loss
Gustavsson gave up two goals on 17 shots in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Canucks. Gustavsson's three-game winning streak came to an end when the Wild were shut out for the first time this season. He's allowed just six goals over his last four starts, but he wasn't that good in a game where the Canucks struggled for large stretches while getting a couple of bounces to go their way. Gustavsson is now 5-7-2 with a 3.26 GAA and an .894 save percentage over 15 games this season. Marc-Andre Fleury will start in Edmonton on Friday, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Gustavsson get the road-trip finale Sunday in Seattle.... See More ... See Less -
Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Slated to face Canucks
Gustavsson is expected to start in Thursday's road game against Vancouver, per Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Gustavsson is on a three-game winning streak, allowing just four goals on 81 shots (.951 save percentage) over that stretch. That strong play might be a sign that Gustavsson's turned a corner after a terrible start to the campaign. Through 14 contests this season, he has a 5-6-2 record, 3.35 GAA and .894 save percentage. The Canucks will be a key test, though. Vancouver leads the league offensively this year with 3.88 goals per game.... See More ... See Less -

Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Tough shootout loss to Sens
Gustavsson stopped 30 shots in regulation and overtime and two of three shootout attempts in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Senators. The 25-year-old Swedish goalie played extremely well and took a 1-0 deficit into the third period, but Ottawa took advantage of a slow line change by Minnesota and Erik Brannstrom got sprung for a clean look at Gustavsson, which the blueliner blasted into the back of the net. Josh Norris was then the only shooter to succeed in the shootout to give the Senators the extra point. This was Gustavsson's best performance since he shut out the Panthers on Oct. 12 -- in between, he'd stumbled to a 1-4-1 record with a 5.40 GAA and .848 save percentage over seven appearances....
