Matt Tennyson: Waived unconditionally
Tennyson was placed on unconditional waivers by the Predators on Saturday for the purpose of terminating his contract, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Tennyson will now be free to seek a new deal and perhaps a larger role with a different NHL organization. The 32-year-old defender picked up three helpers through eight appearances with the Predators in 2021-22.
