  • Jets' Tyler Toffoli: Three more points vs. Columbus

Toffoli tallied two goals and an assist in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Blue Jackets. Toffoli picked up a pair of points in the second period, assisting on a Nikolaj Ehlers tally before beating Elvis Merzlikins from the slot to extend Winnipeg's lead to 3-0. Toffoli then capped the scoring with his 30th goal of the year in the third, intercepting an errant pass and scoring on the breakaway. After he was held off the scoresheet in his first two games with the Jets, Toffoli now has four goals and five points in his last two contests. He's up to 50 points (30 goals, 20 assists) through 65 games this season.

  • Jets' Tyler Toffoli: Lights lamp twice against Ducks

Toffoli scored two goals, one on the power play, in Friday's 6-0 win over Anaheim. Both tallies came in the third period as the Jets turned the game into a rout. The goals were Toffoli's first points in three games since being traded to Winnipeg from New Jersey, and the 31-year-old seems to be settling in with new linemates Sean Monahan and Nikolaj Ehlers. Toffoli also led the Jets in ice time with the man advantage, which bodes well for his fantasy value. He sits two markers short of the third 30-goal campaign of his career, and last season's personal best of 34 tallies remains within striking distance as Winnipeg has 16 games left on the schedule.

  • Jets' Tyler Toffoli: Headed back to Canada

Toffoli was traded to the Jets by the Devils in exchange for a pair of draft picks Friday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports. Per TSN, New Jersey will receive a 2024 third-round pick and a 2025 second-round pick. Toffoli will be playing for his fourth Canadian team, having previously suited up for Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary. This season, the 31-year-old winger has racked up 26 goals and 15 helpers while playing for the Devils, including 14 power-play points. With Winnipeg, Toffoli could challenge for a first-line role, especially while Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) is out of the lineup.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Sitting for trade-related reasons

Toffoli (not injury related) is expected to be held out of the lineup for Thursday night's game versus St. Louis due to trade-related reasons, The Fourth Period's Irfaan Gaffar reports. With New Jersey's playoff hopes looking slim at best, the team appears to be set to try and recoup some assets in exchange for Toffoli, who is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The Maple Leafs have reportedly expressed interest in trading for Toffoli -- he's racked up 26 goals and 44 points through 61 games this campaign.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Pair of points in loss

Toffoli scored a power-play goal on four shots and added an assist in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks. Toffoli has 10 points over his last 10 games, with half of them coming on the power play. The 31-year-old helped out on a Timo Meier tally in the first period before scoring one of his own in the third, though the Devils' comeback push fell just short. Toffoli has been as advertised for the Devils with 26 goals, 18 assists, 14 power-play points, 176 shots on net, 59 hits and a minus-11 rating over 59 appearances. He likely won't match the 73-point campaign he had in 2022-23, but he has a good chance to exceed 50 points for the third time in his career.

Toffoli scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Ligtning. His tally early in the second period cut the Devils' deficit to 2-1, but it was as close as they got on the afternoon. Toffoli extended his point streak to six games with the tally, and the 31-year-old winger has 25 goals on the season -- the fourth time in his career he's reached that mark.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Two helpers in Saturday's win

Toffoli notched two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens. The veteran winger extended his point streak to five games with the effort, but it was Toffoli's first multi-point performance since he recorded a hat trick against the Golden Knights on Jan. 22. He's having a solid first season with the Devils, and through 56 games, Toffoli has 24 goals and 41 points.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Opens scoring in win

Toffoli opened the scoring Monday with a power-play goal during New Jersey's 3-1 win over Seattle. Toffoli has been putting up points lately, but it's been feast or famine. In the last seven games, he has posted six goals, but he has been held without a point in three of those games. He's certainly put in the work to get those goals, however. He's put 32 shots on net over those seven games. That's a good sign that the production can continue.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Back in action Thursday

Toffoli will return to the lineup Thursday versus Calgary after missing one game with an illness. Toffoli will finally reunite with Jack Hughes, who has missed the last 11 games with an upper-body injury. They will be joined by Alexander Holtz on the third line. Toffoli will see first-unit power-play time. Toffoli has 21 goals and 34 points in 47 games this season. Look for Max Willman to be taken out of the lineup with the return of Toffoli.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Not playing Tuesday

Toffoli (illness) won't play Tuesday versus the Avalanche. Toffoli will have to miss at least one game due to illness. The 31-year-old's absence likely opens the door for Max Willman to get into the lineup again. Toffoli should be considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's game against his former team, the Flames.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Hats off in grand style

Toffoli had a hat trick in Monday's 6-5 overtime home win against the Golden Knights. Toffoli recorded his sixth career hat trick, and it was the first time he ended one with an overtime winner. He is the third different player in franchise history to complete a hat trick in overtime, joining Patrik Elias and Stephane Richer in the team's exclusive club. He has four goals in the past two games after notching four tallies in the previous 22 contests.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Banks team-leading 16th goal

Toffoli found the back of the net in Friday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks. Toffoli had points in just four of 14 games in December, but he's still leading the Devils in goals, with 16, through 37 games. The top-line winger also has 105 shots on net and 12 assists for a fairly productive campaign so far. Still, it's discouraging that he hasn't potted a goal on the man advantage since Nov. 30 in a 4-3 overtime win over the Flyers. While his enigmatic ways can be frustrating at times, Toffili remains a set-and-forget starting option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Two points against Jackets

Toffoli scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 6-3 win over Columbus. The veteran winger snapped a six-game point drought with the performance. Toffoli's been streaky to begin his first campaign with the Devils, but he's proven that last season's breakout with the Flames was no fluke by producing 13 goals and 23 points in 28 games while skating in a top-six role and handling a regular shift on New Jersey's top power-play unit.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Scores twice Saturday

Toffoli scored twice in a 7-2 win over the Sabres on Saturday. His first was a backhander from just off the left post in the first period, and the second was a rebound off the left pad of Devon Levi early in the second. Toffoli is in the final year of his four-year, $17 million contract, and he's doing everything possible to earn another big money deal. He has 18 points, including 11 goals, in 19 games after putting up a career-high 73 points last season.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Picks up pair of points

Toffoli scored a goal on four shots, added a power-play assist and doled out two hits in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche. Toffoli had gone a little quiet with just two points over his last five contests. The winger opened the scoring at 3:43 of the first period and also set up a Dougie Hamilton tally in the second. Despite concerns that his 73-point campaign from a year ago would be unsustainable, Toffoli is rolling with eight goals, five helpers, 43 shots on net, nine hits and a minus-5 rating through 12 outings. He'll continue to shoulder a heavy load on offense with Nico Hischier (upper body) and Jack Hughes (shoulder) out.

Toffoli scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Wild. Toffoli tied the game 2-2 in the second period, deflecting a feed from Jesper Bratt past Marc-Andre Fleury on a New Jersey power play. The 31-year-old Toffoli has been on fire of late, tallying seven goals in his last five games, including three with the man advantage. He's up to 10 points (seven goals, three assists) through eight games this season while skating alongside Jack Hughes on the Devils' top line.

The 31-year-old winger has scored six times over his last three games, and he's at nine points through six contests overall. • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Bags hat trick against Habs

Toffoli scored three goals, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Canadiens. After getting the Devils on the board late in the second period, Toffoli lit the lamp twice more in the third including an empty-netter to ice the game and complete the hat trick. After managing just one assist through his first three contests with New Jersey, the 31-year-old has four goals in the last two games, and all of them have been set up by Jack Hughes. As long as Toffoli is riding shotgun for the Devils' young superstar in Hughes, the tallies should keep flowing.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Earns first goal in new sweater

Toffoli lit the lamp on the power play, contributing to Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Islanders. Toffoli went top shelf to beat Ilya Sorokin for his first goal with the Devils. Now 31 years old, Toffoli was a staple with the Kings franchise for parts of eight seasons prior to his shuffling between the Canucks, Habs and Flames from 2019-23. Toffoli has registered a goal and two assists through four games with the Devils, which is what fantasy managers want to see on the heels of him banking a career-high 73 points (34 goals, 39 assists) through 82 games for Calgary.

  • Devils' Tyler Toffoli: Registers first point for club

Toffoli recorded an assist in Thursday's 4-3 victory over the Red Wings. Toffoli didn't take long to pick up his first point with the Devils after being traded to the team from Calgary during the offseason. The Ontario native enters the 2023-24 campaign fresh off a career-best season in which he set career highs in goals (34), assists (39) and power-play points (25). Playing on the top line for New Jersey alongside Jack Hughes, Toffoli should be capable of pushing for those marks again this season, though he is far from a lock to repeat those numbers.
