  • Adam Jones: Hanging up cleats

Jones officially retired from the NFL on Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Jones' most recent NFL action came in the form of seven games with the Broncos, where he logged nine tackles and an interception before being let go after Week 11. "Pacman" will -- of course -- be most remembered for his time with the Bengals. Jones started in 68 of 100 games and racked up 366 total tackles, 12 interceptions and 64 pass breakups. The 14-year-pro's career will likely also remind fans of his problems off the field, including the most recent incident where Jones was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, intimidation and resisting arrest at a casino in Indiana in late February.

  • Adam Jones: In more legal trouble

Jones was arrested Wednesday morning in Indiana on numerous charges, ESPN reports.

Jones was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, intimidation and resisting arrest at the Rising Sun Casino. This isn't a good look for the 35-year-old, who's trying to keep his career alive, especially since he just served a suspension last season for a 2017 incident in which Jones was arrested for allegedly pushing a security guard.

  • Adam Jones: Let go by Broncos

Jones was cut by the Broncos on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL.com reports.

Jones, a 14-year veteran, appeared in just two of his seven games in Denver. He recorded one interception and nine tackles during his stint with the club. It is unclear if the 35-year-old will find another landing spot at this stage in his career.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Fully practices Wednesday

Jones (thigh) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Jones missed Denver's last three games with a thigh injury, but since the 35-year-old was able to practice in full Wednesday, he should be ready to go against the Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Sunday. He has nine tackles and one interception on the year.

Coach Vance Joseph said Friday that he expects Jones (thigh) to play Week 8 against the Chiefs, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.

Leg injuries have sidelined Jones for three game this season, but the veteran cornerback and return man appears to be nearing a return to full health. Over his four appearances on the campaign, Jones has generated nine tackles, two pass breakups and one interception.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Ruled out Thursday

Jones (thigh) is ruled out for Thursday's game against the Cardinals, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Jones missed two games with hamstring injuries, and will be sidelined for his third consecutive contest due to what appears to be a new thigh injury. A timetable for the veteran's recovery remains unclear, and rookies Phillip Lindsay and DaeSean Hamilton will serve as Denver's primary punt returners as long as Jones sits out.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Will play Monday

Jones (thigh) is playing Monday against the Chiefs, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.

Jones was dealing with a thigh injury last week, but it won't keep the veteran defensive back from taking the field Monday. Jones played a rotational role in the secondary in his first two games of the season, so look for a similar snap count Monday night.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Questionable for Monday's contest

Jones (hamstring) is listed as questionable leading into Monday's game against Kansas City, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.

Earlier this week, reports indicated that Jones was in line to return to game action come Monday's affair. While this may still be the case, things seem a little murkier than previously reported. Should Jones be forced to watch from the sidelines, Phillip Lindsay or rookie DaeSean Hamilton would likely take over the punt returning duties.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Set for return Monday

Jones (hamstring) is expected to play in Monday's game against the Chiefs, Kyle Fredrickson of The Denver Post reports.

Jones was sidelined for all of last week due to a hamstring injury, and while it's unclear how much practicing the veteran will do this week, it looks like he will be good to go by Monday. With Tramaine Brock (groin) also expected back against the Chiefs, the Broncos will get some much-needed depth back in the secondary.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Sitting in Week 3

Jones (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's Week 3 tilt against the Ravens.

The veteran corner missed practice all week, so his status isn't unexpected by any means. The Broncos will be a bit thinner in the secondary against an improved Ravens passing attack as a result, and they'll need a fill-in for Jones' punt return duties as well.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Considered questionable

Jones (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Ravens, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.

Jones was unable to practice all week, so he is presumably more on the doubtful side of questionable. Still, his status is unlikely to be confirmed until closer to kickoff. If he is unable to go look for Isaac Yiadom to see some increased snaps providing depth at cornerback, but it is unclear who would take over punt return duties. Undrafted rookie running back Phillip Lindsay would presumably be a candidate.

  • Broncos' Adam Jones: Nursing hamstring injury

Jones is dealing with a hamstring ailment, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.

The extent of the injury as well as subsequent origin remains somewhat unknown at the moment. What is known, however, is that Jones could run the risk of missing Week 3 action due to the lingering nature of hamstring issues. It's too early to predict his status for Sunday's contest, but how the 13-year vet holds up in practice this week could dictate his game availability.
