  • Cardinals' Domata Peko: Officially inks deal

Peko signed a contract with the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

The veteran defensive tackle, who turns 36 later this week, will be reunited with defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, who he worked with in both Cincinnati and Denver previously in his career. Corey Peters (knee) was recently lost for the season, so adding Peko gives Arizona some much-needed depth along the interior of their defensive line.

  • Cardinals' Domata Peko: Joining Cardinals

Peko is expected to sign with the Cardinals after passing all required COVID-19 protocols, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Arizona is in need of reliable play along the interior of the defensive line following a season-ending injury to Corey Peters (kneecap), making Peko a clear fit. The 35-year-old appeared in seven games with the Ravens last season.

Peko notched 14 tackles (seven solo) in seven regular-season contests in 2019.

  • Ravens' Domata Peko: Suiting up Sunday

Peko (knee) is active for Sunday's contest against the 49ers.

  • Ravens' Domata Peko: Questionable for Sunday

Peko (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Peko fully participated in practice Friday. He has played around 20 snaps in the two games he's been active since signing with Baltimore and would likely be in line for a similar role if he's able to play Sunday.

  • Ravens' Domata Peko: Finally secures contract

Peko signed a contract, which will pay $1 million for the remainder of the season, with the Ravens on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

The Broncos allowed Peko to walk into free agency following a 2018 season in which he recorded 31 tackles, 0.5 sacks and two pass breakups over 16 games. Peko will turn 35 years old Nov. 27, and he'll add veteran depth as the Ravens make a championship push, since Daylon Mack (knee) was placed on injured reserve and Michael Pierce (ankle) is day-to-day. Justin Ellis signed with the team as well, so Peko will have competition for reps regardless of the injury situation.

  • Broncos' Domata Peko: Headed for free agency

The Broncos will let Peko head to free agency, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Peko logged just 31 tackles (20 solo) and a half-sack with the Broncos last season and, despite noting his desire to re-sign with the club, the veteran will likely head elsewhere this offseason. At the very least, Peko's durability, with him having played 16 games in all but two seasons, shouldn't be a concern for teams interested in his services.

Peko was listed as questionable heading into the contest after missing the previous two games, but he will tough it out Thursday. The veteran will presumably resume his role as the team's starting nose tackle.

  • Broncos' Domata Peko: Questionable for Week 15

Peko (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Colts.

Peko has sat out the past two games and was a limited participant in practice this week, but head coach Vance Joseph indicated Tuesday that the nose tackle is expected to be available. The 33-year-old will presumably go through pregame warmups Thursday before a final decision on his Week 15 status is made.

The Broncos are hopeful Peko (knee) will be able to play in Thursday's matchup against the Colts, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.

  • Broncos' Domata Peko: Set to sit Sunday

Peko (knee) will not be active for Sunday's game against the Jets, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports.

With Adam Gotsis dealing with an illness as well, the Broncos are left with three fully healthy defensive linemen. Peko will miss his second consecutive game Sunday, so the Broncos will likely turn to his cousin Kyle Peko as the main run clogger.

  • Broncos' Domata Peko: Questionable vs. Jets

Peko (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports.

Peko was not at practice either of the last two days, but the team is still holding out hope that the defensive tackle will be able to make a return this weekend. Expect Peko to be a game-time decision Sunday, but being unable to practice with the sprained MCL surely isn't encouraging for him.

  • Broncos' Domata Peko: Out for Week 13

Peko (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.

Though Peko was hopeful to avoid an absence after suffering a second-degree MCL sprain in last week's loss to the Raiders, his fate was sealed after he was unable to practice in any capacity this week. The nose tackle's inactive status in Week 13 will spell an end to his 123-game start streak.

Broncos head coach Vance Joseph confirmed Monday that Peko suffered a second-degree MCL sprain in his right knee in Sunday's loss to the Raiders and would be sidelined for 1-to-2 weeks, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports.

Assuming Joseph's projected holds true, Peko will sit out Week 13 against the Dolphins, spelling an end to the nose tackle's 123-game start streak. Peko has registered 35 stops, a sack and a fumble recovery in 11 contests this season.

Peko (knee) sustained damage to his MCL during Sunday's game in Oakland, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

The extent of the damage isn't clear, as Peko is expected to undergo further evaluation Monday. However, it's possible his streak of 123 consecutive games -- which is tops among active defensive linemen -- could come to a screeching halt.

Peko injured his knee in Sunday's game against the Raiders and will not return, Patrick Smyth of the Broncos' official site reports.
