Isaac Rex: Let go by Chargers
Rex was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday.
Rex was a late addition to the Chargers' training camp. He signed with the Bolts on Thursday and played in the preseason finale against the Cowboys on Saturday, though he wasn't targeted. Assuming he clears waivers, Rex could catch on with a team's practice squad.

Chargers' Isaac Rex: Lands with Bolts
The Chargers signed Rex to a contract Thursday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Rex joined the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of BYU on May 10, but he was waived by Detroit just six days later. He is a long shot to make the Chargers' 53-man roster, but he could stick around on the team's practice squad following the conclusion of training camp. Rex will have a chance to show what he can bring to the table in Saturday's preseason finale against Dallas.

The Lions waived Rex on Thursday.
Rex was waived to make room for fellow tight end Sean McKeon. An undrafted rookie out of BYU, Rex will now have to look for an opportunity to compete with another club this offseason.
