Cross missed three games after suffering a toe injury during Seattle's Week 1 loss to the Rams, but he seems to have moved past the issue, as he started during the team's Week 5 contest and has no injury designation ahead of Sunday. The 2022 first-round pick is expected to slide back into his role as the Seahawks' starting left tackle.

    Cross (toe) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Giants. Cross will be unavailable for a third straight contest while he continues to nurse a toe injury he suffered in the season opener. The ninth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft will likely miss his third consecutive game as he continues to recover from the toe injury he suffered during Seattle's Week 1 loss to the Rams. If Cross does miss Monday night's contest, Stone Forsythe is expected to continue filling in at left tackle.

  • Seahawks' Charles Cross: Misses practice Wednesday

    Cross (toe) did not participate at Seattle's practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Cross was forced to miss the Seahawks' first practice of the week after being carted off the field in Week 1 with a sprained toe. Head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that the offensive lineman is "hurting" and that it's going to be a "challenge" for him to play in Week 2, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Fellow offensive tackle Abraham Lucas (kneecap) was placed on injured reserve while veteran Jason Peters was signed to the practice squad earlier this week.
