Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Re-ups with Atlanta
The Falcons re-signed Hodge to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.
The 28-year-old has bounced around the league since entering it as an undrafted free agent out of Prairie View A&M in 2018, but Hodge has settled in as a core special teams player and depth wideout. He set career highs on offense last season with 13 catches for 202 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

Hodge caught 13 of 20 targets for 202 yards and a touchdown across 17 appearances during the 2022 campaign.
Hodge caught five of six targets for 95 yards over the first two games of the season, but he failed to provide consistent production the rest of the way. He was held without a catch 10 times across his next 15 appearances and caught just one pass over the final six games of the campaign, four of which came with Desmond Ridder at the helm. Nonetheless, Hodge still posted a career-high 202 receiving yards during the campaign and may have interest in re-signing with Atlanta in free agency this offseason, though the Falcons may elect to completely overhaul their wideout corps behind Drake London.

Hodge reeled in his lone target for five yards during Sunday's 20-19 victory over the Cardinals.
Hodge played the fourth-most snaps among Atlanta's wide receivers, but after securing a five-yard catch on the Falcons' opening offensive drive, the fifth-year wideout wasn't targeted again. The reception marked Hodge's first since Week 11, so it's safe to presume he won't offer much fantasy production during Sunday's regular-season finale against Tampa Bay. Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Cleared for Week 15
Hodge was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports.
Hodge missed Thursday's practice due to an illness, but he wasn't limited by the aliment Friday and is good to go for Sunday's divisional matchup versus New Orleans. Hodge secured both of his targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 25-15 loss to the Panthers.
Hodge's 25-yard touchdown grab came with just under three minutes left in the game, bringing the Falcons within one score of the Panthers. The wideout's touchdown was his first of the season, and he now has 11 catches for 184 yards over the first 10 games. Falcons' KhaDarel Hodge: Making push for roster spot
Hodge is a strong candidate to make the Falcons' initial 53-man roster, Scott Bair and Tori McElhaney of the team's official site report.
Hodge was signed by the Falcons this offseason after catching 13 of 27 targets for 157 yards across 16 games for the Lions last season. Atlanta made numerous moves to address its wideout corps, so he was expected to have stiff competition for a roster spot. Regardless, he appears to be standing out, as Bair relays that Hodge frequently is working with the first team and has put together a solid training camp. Hodge played 10 snaps (eight offensive) during the first quarter of Atlanta's preseason opener, catching his only target for 12 yards, and hit the sidelines with the rest of the starters, another sign he's trending towards being a lock for the initial 53-man roster.
