Jordan Veasy: Let go by Raiders
Veasy was cut by the Raiders on Wednesday.
After he signed with Las Vegas in May, Veasy now becomes a free agent, while the team signed fellow wide receiver Chris Lacy in a corresponding move. The 27-year-old Veasy has spent his first five years in the NFL bouncing between practice squads and has yet to record a reception as a professional.

Raiders' Jordan Veasy: Signs with Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Veasy on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Veasy appeared in his first two NFL contests last year with the Texans, totaling 22 snaps on offense and 24 on special teams. The only counting stat the 26-year-old accrued was a recovered fumble from teammate Rex Burkhead. The Raiders have revamped their wideout corps this offseason, so Veasy will likely have an uphill battle to make Las Vegas' initial 53-man roster.

Veasy saw the field in Week 15 for Houston and wasn't targeted on 13 offensive snaps. He could see some opportunities Sunday with Chris Conley (knee) questionable and Danny Amendola and Chris Moore both on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
