Fisk joined the team as a UDFA in May, and made his way to the practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster out of training camp. The 23-year-old never made it to the active roster with Atlanta, and he'll now pursue a new opportunity elsewhere.

Atlanta signed Fisk to the practice squad Thursday, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Fisk was waived as part of the Falcons' final roster cuts Tuesday, but he'll now get a chance to prove himself while on the team's practice squad. The undrafted product out of Stanford saw time playing as a defensive end during his senior collegiate season, and he figures to primarily serve as a blocking tight end in the NFL

Fisk was unable to carve out a large enough role for himself in the Falcons offense, getting let go Tuesday. If he clears waivers, the tight end will likely return to Atlanta's practice squad.
