Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Forces zero turnovers in 2023
Terrell finished 2023 with 45 tackles (34 solo) and 11 pass defenses in 17 appearances.
Terrell is considered one of the best cover cornerbacks in the league, but he's struggled to generate production the last two seasons, especially in the playmaking department. After totaling four interceptions and four forced fumbles across his first two NFL seasons, the 2020 first-round pick has recorded just one fumble recovery over the last two campaigns. As long as that trend continues, Terrell is a better player in real life than fantasy. Atlanta exercised the fifth-year team option for 2024 on Terrell's rookie deal, so he'll be back next season, though he's slated to be an unrestricted free agent after that.

Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Clears protocol, available Sunday
Terrell was removed from Atlanta's injury report and has been upgraded to available for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after clearing concussion protocol, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
Terrell was removed from last week's 13-8 win over the Jets after sustaining a concussion in the first quarter, but he advanced quickly through the NFL's five-step protocol for head injuries and shouldn't face any limitations with his snap count Sunday. The shutdown corner hasn't been tested too much this season and as a result has recorded just 32 tackles and zero interceptions over his 12 appearances.

Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Questionable for Sunday
Terrell (concussion) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
The All-Pro cornerback seems to be trending in the right direction to play this weekend, as he went from logging a limited practice session Thursday to a full workload Friday. Nonetheless, Terrell must clear concussion protocol in order to suit up Sunday, and if he's unable to do so, Dee Alford and Clark Phillips would likely see more work in the Falcons' secondary.

Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Returns to practice
Terrell (concussion) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice session, Amna Subhan of the Falcons' official site reports.
Terrell sustained a concussion early in Sunday's 13-8 win over the Jets. He was unable to return to the game and registered one tackle while playing three defensive snaps. Terrell will continue to progress through the league's five-step concussion protocol ahead of Week 14 against the Buccaneers.
