Fries has apparently overcome the cramps he was dealing with that caused him to miss time during last week's win against the Ravens. With Ryan Kelly (concussion) and Quenton Nelson (toe) both questionable, Fries could end up being counted on to anchor the interior of the line.

Fries (calf) wasn't listed on Indianapolis' injury report Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game versus Jacksonville.
Fries was dealing with a calf issue in August, but it looks like he's going to be healthy enough to play in Week 1. He enters the 2023 season as the Colts' starter at right guard.
