Minnesota signed Jackson to its practice squad Tuesday.
Just a few days after being cut from the Vikings' practice squad, Jackson has found his way back into the fold. With only five receivers currently available to suit up for Thursday's game at Philadelphia, it wouldn't be surprising to see Minnesota elevate a wideout in the near future.

Jackson was let go from the Vikings' practice squad Saturday.
Jackson initially signed with Minnesota's practice unit after failing to make the team's final 53-man roster. The CFL and XFL alum will now be on the lookout for a new opportunity. He most recently had a stint with the D.C. Defenders in the XFL.

Lucky Jackson: Joining Vikings practice squad
Jackson is set to stay with the Vikings via their practice squad, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio
Jackson has been working his way up the ladder in several develepmental leagues since ending his collegiate career with Western Kentucky in 2021. He has spent time in the Spring League, CFL and most recently the XFL with the D.C. Defenders this offseason. Although he did not make it through the Vikings' final cut after training camp, his climb continues, as he will now get the chance to impress at practice and hopefully get the call up on a game day.

Lucky Jackson: Waived by Minnesota
The Vikings waived Jackson on Tuesday, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Jackson spent time in developmental leagues over the past few seasons following a collegiate career at Western Kentucky. He was unable to land a spot on the Vikings' 53-man roster after signing with the team in late May, and it's unclear whether he'll find a role with another NFL club in 2023.

Vikings' Lucky Jackson: Signs deal with Minnesota
The Vikings signed Jackson on Tuesday.
Jackson played his college ball at Western Kentucky and has bounced around various developmental leagues, including The Spring League in 2021, the Edmonton Elks last year, and then with the XFL's D.C. Defenders this offseason. With the Defenders, Jackson caught 36 balls for 572 yards and five touchdowns. Jackson will try to win one of the final receiver spots in Minnesota.
