Ben DiNucci: Parting ways with Cowboys
DiNucci will be waived by the Cowboys on Sunday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
DiNucci spent the 2021 season on the Cowboys' practice squad before signing a reserve/future contract with the team in January. While he was unable to secure a spot on the Cowboys' 53-man roster, it's possible that he lands on a practice squad in 2022. Over three preseason games this year, DiNucci completed 16 of 27 pass attempts for 181 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while rushing five times for 11 yards.

Cowboys' Ben DiNucci: Remains with Dallas
The Cowboys signed DiNucci to a reserve/future contract Monday.
DiNucci failed to make the team's 53-man roster ahead of the regular season and spent the entirety of the 2021 campaign on the team's practice squad. The quarterback appeared in three games in 2020 and completed 23 of 43 passes for 219 yards while starter Dak Prescott was out due to a season-ending ankle injury. The seventh-round pick will have another opportunity to find a full-time backup role with Dallas this coming offseason.

Ben DiNucci: Resurfaces on practice squad
The Cowboys signed DiNucci to the practice squad Wednesday.
DiNucci couldn't beat out Cooper Rush for the No. 2 spot behind Dak Prescott (shoulder), but he will get a chance to continue his development with the Cowboys. The 2020 seventh-round pick underwhelmed in three appearances last season.
