Kain Colter: Waived by Rams Tuesday
Colter was waived by the Rams on Tuesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
The former college quarterback was converted to wide receiver during his most recent attempt to make an NFL team. He spent time on the Vikings' practice squad last season, but with limited roster spots available for the Rams this summer, Colter was released.

Rams' Kain Colter: Signs with Rams
Colter was signed by the Rams on Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
The versatile product out of Northwestern was most recently a member of the Vikings' practice squad during a 2014 season and was listed as a wide receiver. Whether the Rams keep him at receiver or try to develop him as a backup quarterback remains to be seen, but he should be considered a long shot to land on the 53-man roster at this time.
