Neal signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins on Wednesday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports. Neal was cut by the Bills last Wednesday, and he'll now join Buffalo teammate Jordan Poyer in Miami's secondary. The Jacksonville State product has primarily been a special-teams player since entering the league in 2018 and will likely earn a similar role with his new squad.... See More ... See Less

Bills' Siran Neal: Will play Sunday
Neal (ankle) will play in Buffalo's game against the Dolphins on Sunday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN reports. Neal is no longer on the injury report despite missing practice with an ankle injury earlier in the week. Through three games so far, the 29-year-old has seen the majority of his playing time come on special teams and has logged three tackles (one solo).... See More ... See Less -
Bills' Siran Neal: Sits out practice
Neal (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Neal is one of many pieces in the Bills' secondary who popped up on the team's injury report Wednesday. The Jacksonville State product mostly sees work on special teams, but depending on his health, as well as that of his teammates, he could be in line for a larger role Sunday against the Dolphins.... Bills' Siran Neal: Leaves with head injury
Neal exited Sunday's game against the Dolphins to be evaluated for a head injury. Neal had three total tackles and one pass breakup before exiting during the second half. The Bills are winning in blowout fashion midway through the fourth quarter, so the 26-year-old could be held out regardless of the results of the evaluation.... See More ... See Less -
Bills' Siran Neal: Quick COVID-19 turnaround
Neal was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Neal just went on the list last Thursday at the opening of camp, so he quickly cleared all the NFL's COVID-19-related protocols. He'll now begin trying to land a spot with the Bills as a reserve defensive back, and it's worth noting there's one less person in front of him after E.J. Gaines opted out of the season earlier this week.... See More ... See Less -
Bills' Siran Neal: Sent to COVID-19 list
Neal is one of five Bills that have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports. That means Neal has either tested positive for the virus or been in close contact with someone that's been infected. The reserve defensive back has plenty of time to recover and stake his claim for a roster spot, but for now he's one of several that will be kept away from training camp happenings.... See More ... Bills' Siran Neal: Diagnosed with concussion
Neal was absent from practice Wednesday because of a concussion. Wednesday's injury report confirmed the news of Neal's concussion after the cornerback was forced to leave Sunday's game in the second quarter. He'll need to pass league protocol if he wants to suit up against Denver on Nov. 24.... See More ... See Less -
Bills' Siran Neal: May see number called
Neal's teammates, Micah Hyde (groin) and Rafael Bush (shoulder), are both listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans. The Bills did call up Dean Marlowe from the practice squad Saturday, but if both Hyde and Bush have to sit this one out -- neither practiced all week -- both Neal and Marlowe should be forced into extra action on defense. Neal isn't on the IDP radar yet, but he did add a nice bullet point on his resume in sacking Aaron Rodgers last week and it'll be interesting to see what he does with potentially more playing time....
