  • Victor Bolden: Short stint with Texans

Bolden was waived by the Texans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Bolden participated in only one practice with Houston before being cut. The wide receiver hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2018.

  • Texans' Victor Bolden: Signs with Houston

Bolden and the Texans agreed on a contract Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Bolden played for the Renegades of the XFL this past season and most recently spent time with the Broncos' organization before being cut in March. The wide receiver hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2018, and he'll likely operate as a practice squad option if he sticks around Houston.

  • Broncos' Victor Bolden: Lands another deal with Denver

The Broncos signed Bolden to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports. Bolden opened the 2022 campaign on Arizona's practice squad IR with a hamstring injury before reaching an injury settlement Sept. 20. The 27-year-old wideout then went unsigned until joining the Broncos' practice squad Nov. 15, and he'll now stick with the team heading into this offseason. Bolden last played in the NFL during the 2018 season, recording one reception in six games split between San Francisco and Buffalo; however, he was a standout last spring with the USFL's Birmingham Stallions, accumulating 1,206 all-purpose yards in the league's 2022 campaign.

  • Victor Bolden: Heading to Denver's practice squad

The Broncos signed Bolden to their practice squad Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports. Though Bolden hasn't played in an NFL game since 2018, he'll now serve as an emergency depth option for the Broncos. The 27-year-old has appeared in 15 career games and has also operated as a punt returner and kick returner in that span.

  • Victor Bolden: Works out with Giants

Bolden (undisclosed) received a workout with the Giants on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Bolden was waived from the Cardinals' practice injured list Sept. 20. It appears he's healthy now and ready to earn an opportunity with another franchise. The Giants are currently dealing with multiple injuries to their wide receiver corps, with David Sills, Richie James and Darius Slayton as their only receivers without an injury designation.

  • Victor Bolden: Let go Tuesday

Bolden (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Cardinals on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports. Bolden was placed on the practice squad injured list Sept. 14. He'll now work to get healthy and pursue opportunities with other teams.

  • Victor Bolden: Lands on practice squad IR

The Cardinals placed Bolden (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. With the move, Bolden will be ineligible for elevation until at least Week 6. In a corresponding move, Arizona signed Jeff Cotton and JaVonta Payton to its practice squad.

  • Victor Bolden: Let go by Cardinals

Arizona waived Bolden on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. Bolden hasn't logged regular-season NFL action since appearing in six games between the Bills and 49ers back in 2018. He will likely now turn his attention toward earning a practice squad role.

  • Victor Bolden: Waived by Lions

Bolden was waived by Detroit on Monday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports. As Tom Kennedy separated himself from Detroit's slew of depth receivers, Bolden had a number of miscues in preseason games that likely diminished his odds of making the team. There's a chance he could find his way to the Lions' practice squad, though.

  • Lions' Victor Bolden: Making case for roster spot

Bolden has begun making a convincing case for a roster spot, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Largely a practice-squad player since going undrafted in 2017, Bolden has one reception to his name over 15 games as a pro. However, Detroit arguably has the worst receiving corps in the league, not to mention a vacancy at both punt and kick returner after Jamal Agnew signed a hefty contract with Jacksonville. Even though Bolden will have to beat out Kalif Raymond for one of those return-man roles, there still probably isn't a better place for an unestablished wideout like Bolden to make a name for himself, especially since Bolden already has experience returning kickoffs for the 49ers and Bills.

  • Victor Bolden: Secures practice squad deal

The Lions signed Bolden to the practice squad Tuesday. Bolden spent training camp with the Lions but was cut from the practice squad in early September. The 25-year-old wide receiver banked 15 NFL games over his first three seasons and mainly contributed as a kick returner.

  • Victor Bolden: Departs practice squad

The Lions cut Bolden from the practice squad Wednesday. Bolden briefly linked with the Lions' practice squad after having been cut amid roster trims, but he'll now need to look for a chance with another organization. The return man hasn't seen regular-season action since 2018, when he appeared in two games with Buffalo and four games with the 49ers.

  • Lions' Victor Bolden: Staying with Lions

Bolden inked a reserve/future contract with Detroit on Monday. The 24-year-old offers more in the return game than on offense, as he's accumulated 512 kick return yards the past two seasons. Bolden failed to see action in the NFL for the 2019 campaign.

  • Bills' Victor Bolden: Can't sneak a spot

Bolden was cut by Buffalo on Saturday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. The speedster never even snuck into that final roster bubble zone even though he saw action with the Bills in 2018. Perhaps another squad will be more interested in his return ability, as he doesn't offer much as a full-time wide receiver.

  • Bills' Victor Bolden: Flashes speed, minimal results

Bolden, picked up by the Bills after being waived by the 49ers during the season, only saw three offensive snaps for the team in two games. However, he brought back five kickoffs for 116 yards (23.2 average). The Bills fired special teams coach Danny Crossman immediately after the season, so Bolden will probably have to start fresh and audition for a new coach. If he couldn't crack the offense with a weak corps of wide receivers, that's not probably going to happen in 2019 with the team expected to stock up on the position this offseason. His best bet will be to try and win a main return job.

  • Bills' Victor Bolden: Sees immediate action

Bolden, signed off the 49ers' practice squad last week, received three kickoff returns for 72 yards in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. The Bills have been less than thrilled with their returners this season, and with Isaiah McKenzie -- one of the few guys that's showed some spark -- having a bigger role in the offense, they want to give Bolden a look for next season, at least in the return game. He only saw action on five special teams plays in the loss (and none on offense) but could serve as the main kickoff return man again while McKenzie fields punts in the finale. Bolden's 24.0 yards per return average, albeit in a small sample size, is better than anyone else besides Marcus Murphy has done for the season, and Murphy is on injured reserve with an elbow injury.

  • Bills' Victor Bolden: Signed by Buffalo

Bolden was signed by the Bills on Tuesday, Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic reports. Bolden appeared in four games with the 49ers earlier this season before being demoted to the practice squad, but he'll have another chance at regular-season action as a member of the Bills for their final two contests. Unfortunately for Bolden, there are plenty of other healthy options at receiver in Buffalo behind Zay Jones, Robert Foster and Isaiah McKenzie.

  • Victor Bolden: Signs with 49ers' practice squad

The 49ers signed Bolden to their practice squad Thursday. Bolden was waived by the 49ers earlier this week, and he ultimately rejoins the team as a member of the practice squad. The 23-year-old logged one reception for 10 yards during four games with San Francisco this season, and he'll now work to earn another shot at a depth role with the team.

  • Victor Bolden: Let go by 49ers

Bolden was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, according to the team's official site. The second-year receiver out of Oregon St. appeared in four games with San Francisco this season, catching one pass for 10 yards. Bolden will look to join another team in search of receiver/kick returner depth.

  • 49ers' Victor Bolden: Narrowly misses first touchdown

Bolden had one catch (four targets) for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to Arizona. Bolden made his 2018 debut after serving a four-game suspension to begin the season. The speedy wideout appeared to have scored the first touchdown of his career on a quick strike from C.J. Beathard, but replay review showed that he was touched down at the one-yard line. Bolden's four targets ranked fourth amongst San Francisco wideouts, but his role is likely to diminish once Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) and/or Dante Pettis (knee) return from injury.
