Falcons' Kemoko Turay: Inks deal with Atlanta
Turay signed with the Falcons on Saturday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Turay played four seasons with the Colts before spending last year with the 49ers, where he had just one tackle across three games. Since being drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Turay has registered 34 tackles and 15 sacks in 41 games. He's a depth edge piece for a Falcons defensive front led by veterans Calais Campbell and Bud Dupree.

49ers' Kemoko Turay: Not listed on injury report
Turay isn't listed on the 49ers' injury report Thursday.
Turay was absent for the team's loss to the Broncos on Sunday night due to a personal matter, but it appears he's since returned to the team and figures to be available for Week 4. However, the 2018 second-round pick has yet to take the field for San Francisco this season, so his return won't have a major impact on the 49ers' defensive game plan.

San Francisco released Turay on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Turay racked up a respectable nine tackles and 5.5 sacks in 13 games with the Colts, but he couldn't secure a situational depth role on the 49ers' initial 53-man roster. The 27-year-old defensive end seems like a fair candidate to draw interest elsewhere in the league, if not to rejoin San Francisco at a later date.

49ers' Kemoko Turay: Signs with 49ers
Turay has agreed to a one-year deal with the 49ers, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The 2018 second-rounder is coming off a 2021 season in which he recorded nine tackles and 5.5 sacks in 13 games with the Colts. Adding the 26-year-old to the mix bolsters the 49ers' defensive line depth and provides the team with an added pass-rushing option ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Colts' Kemoko Turay: Clears COVID protocols
Turay was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Turey spent a week in COVID protocols and was forced to miss the Colts' Week 16 contest with the Cardinals. Now healthy, he should return to his rotational role on the defensive line Sunday against the Raiders.
