Player Outlook
Pascal signed in Arizona this offseason, and he could be the No. 4 receiver for the Cardinals this year behind Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch. He's not worth drafting in the majority of leagues. In 2022 with the Eagles, He had just 15 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown on 19 targets, all career-lows. He's not expected to post enough production in 2023 to help Fantasy managers in most leagues.

  • Cardinals' Zach Pascal: Inked by Arizona

The Cardinals and Pascal agreed to terms Monday on a two-year contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Pascal's production dropped in his inaugural season with the Eagles' star-studded offense in 2022, as he logged just 15 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown, all career-low marks. It's possible he earns increased work in Arizona, especially if the team ends up parting ways with DeAndre Hopkins (knee) this offseason. Even then, though, all of Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore (groin) and Greg Dortch would seem clearly above Pascal on the depth chart.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Finishes with career lows

Pascal ended the regular season with 15 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown, all career lows. Pascal averaged 37.5 catches, 472 yards and 3.8 touchdowns across his four seasons in Indianapolis but saw his numbers tail off significantly after his move to Philadelphia. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined to claim 56 percent of the Eagles' targets, leaving very little work for the team's depth wideouts. Pascal is merely on a one-year deal, so it's possible he finds himself on a roster that needs to look his way more often next season.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Apparently good to go Saturday

Pascal (concussion) does not carry an injury designation into Saturday's game at Dallas. Pascal was listed as questionable Thursday, as he still hadn't cleared protocol for the concussion he sustained in Philadelphia's win at Chicago in Week 15, but he presumably got the okay from team physicians to return to football activities Friday. With A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Quez Watkins and Dallas Goedert all healthy headed into Week 16, Pascal's path to targets is very narrow.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Questionable for Saturday

Pascal (concussion) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Cowboys. Pascal sustained a concussion during the Eagles' win over the Bears on Sunday, and he was a non-participant during practice Tuesday and Wednesday. While it's unclear if he's managed to clear protocols yet, the 28-year-old should have a chance to play on Christmas Eve after logging a limited practice Thursday. Pascal has yet to play more than 50 percent of offensive snaps or attract more than three targets in a game so far this season, though his potential absence would leave Philadelphia without its No. 4 wideout while Gardner Minshew makes his first start of the season in place of quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder).

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: No activity Wednesday

Pascal (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday. Pascal has now opened Week 16 prep with two straight absences due to the concussion he sustained this past weekend in Chicago. He'll likely need to return to the field as a limited participant at the Eagles' final practice session of the week Thursday to have a legitimate chance at clearing the NFL's five-step concussion before Saturday's game in Dallas.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Logs DNP to open Week 16 prep

Pascal (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice estimate. Pascal appears to have sustained a concussion in last weekend's matchup against the Bears, ultimately explaining why he was listed as a non-participant during Tuesday's walk-through session. The 28-year-old wide receiver has until Saturday to clear protocols before the Eagles square off in Dallas.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Notches short reception in win

Pascal played 19 snaps on offense and turned his lone target into a five-yard reception in Sunday's 48-22 win over the Giants. Pascal operated as the clear No. 4 receiver behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins and actually ended up seeing more playing time on the Eagles' special-teams units, where he logged 20 snaps. With pass-catching tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) trending toward a return from injured reserve for the Eagles' Week 15 game at Chicago, Pascal's opportunities on offense could become even scarcer over the final quarter of the regular season.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Good to go

Pascal (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans. Quez Watkins has taken more of the snaps in recent weeks after rotating with Pascal for much of the season, and given Watkins' recent surge in production it's possible that continues Sunday against the Titans even after Pascal managed a full practice Friday and was cleared for the game.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Limited due to groin injury

Pascal was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough due to a groin injury. Seeing as Pascal played a season-low nine offensive snaps against the Packers, the wideout presumably picked up the groin injury sometime in the first half of the Eagles' primetime win. The extent of the issue remains unclear, but it's encouraging to see Pascal at least get some work in during the first session of Week 13 prep. He'll have two more opportunities to log a full practice before Philadelphia needs to make a decision on his status for Sunday's matchup against the Titans.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Plays season-low eight snaps

Pascal went without a target while playing eight of the Eagles' 79 snaps on offense in Sunday's 40-33 win over the Packers. Pascal's 10 percent snap share marked a notable downturn from Week 11, when he played 43 percent of the snaps in a win over the Colts. The Eagles handed most of Pascal's playing time to Quez Watkins (84 percent share), who operated as the team's clear No. 3 receiver after splitting the role with Pascal in Week 11.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Catches one pass

Pascal pulled in one of his two targets and gained 10 yards in Monday's loss to Washington. The Eagles offense was muted overall with the Commanders dominating time of possession. Pascal hasn't made much of an impression even when the Eagles have been playing with a lead, so it's no surprise to see his impact remain minimal in the team's first loss.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Records one reception

Pascal caught his only target and gained eight yards in Thursday's victory over the Texans. Pascal continues to play a minor role at most. He's scored just once all season and is averaging 1.1 catches for 13.0 yards per game. He continues to trail Quez Watkins in snap count (35 to 20 in this instance), so even an injury to A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith might not give Pascal a fantasy-relevant role.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Not targeted in Week 5 win

Pascal went without a catch for the second week in a row Sunday against the Cardinals. While this wasn't the first time this season that Pascal has gone without a catch, it did represent the first time he went without a target. He also saw the field for a season-low 13 offensive snaps. The Eagles thus far are barely looking to their secondary weapons and have little incentive to change that given their 5-0 record.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: No catches against Jaguars

Pascal finished with zero catches on one target Sunday against Jacksonville. Pascal caught at least one pass in each of the first three games of the season, but he didn't play a major role in any of those contests, topping out at just three receptions. He was blanked Week 4, with no wideout other than A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith hauling in a pass.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Three catches in win

Pascal was targeted three times in Sunday's Week 3 win against Washington, leading to three catches for 18 yards. Pascal narrowly trailed Quez Watkins in snaps (33-30), but he beat him 3-1 in targets and 3-0 in receptions. Still, neither of the Eagles' depth options was able to do much on a day in which A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith each received double-digit targets. Those two have combined for 86 percent of the Eagles' wide receiver targets this season, so there hasn't been room for Pascal to play much of a role.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Catches two passes

Pascal pulled in both of his targets Monday against the Vikings, finishes with 14 yards on two receptions. Pascal doesn't appear to be a big part of the Eagles' plans at the moment. He's been fourth on the wideout depth chart in terms of snap count in both of the first two weeks, though he did at least jump up from 17 snaps Week 1 to 31 in Week 2. He's received just three targets on the year, but that does put him ahead of No. 3 receiver Quez Watkins, who's been targeted just twice.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Pulls in lone target

Pascal brought in his only target for seven yards in the Eagles' 38-35 win over the Lions on Sunday. It wasn't a particularly notable performance for Pascal, but it did make him the lone Eagles wideout not named A.J. Brown to pull in a pass. Brown's 13 targets and 10 catches didn't leave much room for anyone else, and Pascal won't necessarily be the primary beneficiary if the Eagles spread the ball around more in the future, as he saw the field for just 17 snaps.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Returns from food poisoning

Pascal returned to practice Thursday after missing the first week of training camp with food poisoning, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. A late start to camp shouldn't be the end of the world for a 27-year-old with 44 career starts, especially given that his new head coach was his offensive coordinator for three seasons in Indianapolis. On the other hand, Pascal has never done a ton with is playing time, and last year in particular he was one of the NFL's least productive starting WRs on a per-snap, per-route or per-target basis (384 yards, 5.6 YPT, 872 snaps). He's unlikely to get that much playing time in Philadelphia, where A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are stone-cold locks to be the lead duo at wide receiver, while Quez Watkins, Jalen Reagor and Greg Ward are all legitimate candidates for the third and fourth spots. Pascal at least is in good shape to make the roster, in part because his one-year, $1.5 million contract is fully guaranteed, per overthecap.com.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: No timetable for return

Coach Nick Sirianni said Monday that Pascal (illness) does not have a return timetable, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports. Pascal is dealing with a stomach illness, one which has prevented him from participating in training camp thus far. If Pascal is unable to get back on the field in the near future and begin establishing a rapport with Jalen Hurts, it could lower his chances of earning a notable depth role in Philadelphia's wide receiver corps, which is headlined by A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Joining Eagles

Pascal is signing a one-year contract with the Eagles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Pascal caught only 38 passes last season despite playing 872 offensive snaps, but he does have the benefit of familiarity with Eagles coach Nick Sirianni, who was the Colts' offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2020. The 27-year-old wideout now is set to compete with Quez Watkins and Jalen Reagor for roles behind No. 1 receiver DeVonta Smith, though the Eagles still have plenty of time to add another receiver (or two) to that mix.
