Jaguars' Aaron Lynch: Rejoins active roster
Lynch was reinstated from the exempt/commissioner permission list to the active roster Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The 27-year-old announced his retirement in August but was reinstated from the reserve/retirement list last week, yet he wasn't yet on the active roster due to an exemption. Lynch had six tackles and two sacks in 13 games for the Bears in 2019 and should fill a rotational role at defensive end for the Jaguars.

Lynch missed Sunday's practice with a shoulder injury, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.
It's unclear when Lynch sustained the injury, although he didn't play in Thursday's preseason opener against Carolina and was unable to practice Saturday. It's also unknown how severe the injury is. Kylie Fitts and James Vaughters will likely take the additional reps at outside linebacker in practice as long as Lynch is sidelined.

Lynch sprained his right elbow in mid-December and ultimately sat out the final three games of the Bears' season, including the team's playoff loss to Philadelphia. However, the notion that Lynch won't require surgery suggests the linebacker isn't dealing with a long-term injury. That's good news for Lynch, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the league year.
