  • Titans' Robert Woods: Caps season with four more catches

Woods reeled in four of five passes for 40 yards during Saturday's 20-16 loss to Jacksonville.

Woods tied Austin Hooper and Treylon Burks for the team lead in catches and otherwise finished second in receiving yards and targets among Titans. The yardage total also marked Woods' most since Week 14 (also against the Jaguars) and was his fourth most of the campaign, leaving him with a season-long line of 53-527-2 on 91 targets in 16 games. It was a fair performance for a player that tore his ACL on Nov. 13, 2021, and the 30-year-old now can focus on putting the serious injury further in the rearview mirror this offseason. With three more years left on his contract, Woods is slated to be on Tennessee's roster in 2023 as the situation currently stands.

  • Titans' Robert Woods: Team-high catch total Thursday

Woods brought in five of nine targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Titans' 27-13 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday night.

Woods' catch and target totals were both team highs, and he was on the receiving end of Joshua Dobbs' one touchdown pass late in the third quarter. The veteran wideout has multiple catches in four consecutive games, and his experience could certainly afford him an important role again in a key Week 18 road matchup versus the Jaguars a week from Sunday that will decide the AFC South champion.

  • Titans' Robert Woods: Four catches in loss

Woods recorded four catches on four targets for 30 yards in Saturday's 19-14 loss to the Texans.

Woods led the Titans in receptions and receiving yards, an indication of how little the offense was able to move the ball. While he managed to record at least four receptions for the third time in his last six games, Woods didn't manage much yardage, as he was targeted entirely in the short areas of the field. That's unlikely to change with Malik Willis under center for the rest of the regular season.

  • Titans' Robert Woods: Only 12 yards against Chargers

Woods recorded two catches on four targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Chargers.

Woods finished second among Tennessee's wide receivers in snaps -- he had one fewer than Nick Westbrook-Ikhine -- but that didn't lead to much production. His most notable opportunity came when he was targeted inside the five early in the second quarter, though Derrick Henry ultimately punched in the score one play later. Woods now has 30 or fewer receiving yards in nine games on the campaign.

  • Titans' Robert Woods: Puts in full workout

Woods (illness) was listed as full participant at Thursday's practice.

Woods' ability to take every rep at the Titans' second practice of Week 15 clears the way for him to play Sunday against the Chargers after he was sidelined for Wednesday's session. He'll likely serve as the Titans' unquestioned No. 1 receiver for the second game in a row, with talented rookie Treylon Burks having yet to make any tangible progress through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol since suffering the head injury on a touchdown reception in Tennessee's Week 13 loss to Philadelphia.
