Raiders' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Signs with Vegas
Wreh-Wilson agreed to a contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The 31-year-old spent the past five years in Atlanta and led the team with three interceptions in 2020, despite playing only 242 defensive snaps. Wreh-Wilson will be fighting for a depth role at cornerback in training camp with Las Vegas.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Leads team with three INTS in 2020
Wreh-Wilson, who notched two tackles during Atlanta's 44-27 Week 17 loss to the Buccaneers, closed out the 2020 season with nine tackles, four pass deflections and three interceptions over 15 appearances.
Wreh-Wilson delivered interceptions in Weeks 3, 8 and 14, providing the eight-year NFL veteran with the Falcons team lead in the category despite him not registering a single start all season. The UConn standout only exceeded 30 defensive snaps in three games, as Atlanta relied upon A.J. Terrell, Isaiah Oliver, Kendall Sheffield and Darqueze Dennard (quadriceps) for regular cornerback snaps. Wreh-Wilson is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March after pulling in $1.1 million in base salary during 2020.

Wreh-Wilson left in the first half of last week's game after feeling ill, but he seems to be over the effects of the illness and should be good to go for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Atlanta's beleaguered secondary will need all the help it can get against Patrick Mahomes and the high-flying Kansas City passing attack.

The veteran cornerback went without a tackle over 11 defensive snaps, but he delivered a takeaway in the waning moments of Sunday's loss. Faced with a tie game and Los Angeles driving into Atlanta territory in the final minute of regulation, Wreh-Wilson stepped in front of a Justin Herbert pass to provide the Falcons with possession at their own 45-yard line. Matt Ryan would throw an interception of his own three plays later, rendering Wreh-Wilson's third INT of the 2020 campaign less impactful.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Secures game-clinching turnover
Wreh-Wilson collected four tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception during Thursday's 25-17 win against the Panthers.
Carolina was mounting a threatening two-minute drill Thursday night while down eight points in the fourth quarter. Teddy Bridgewater led the Panthers down to the Falcons' 30-yard line with 65 seconds to go, but on the ninth play of the drive, Wreh-Wilson stepped in front of a pass intended for DJ Moore to secure a game-icing takeaway. A head injury to Kendall Sheffield partway through the contest allowed for Wreh-WIlson to play his third-highest defensive snap count of the season (30), and he may have earned more opportunities moving forward with his clutch performance.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: To start against Bears
Wreh-Wilson is expected to start now that A.J. Terrell (Reserve/COVID-19 list) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Wreh-Wilson has notched just one interception across 60 career regular-season games, but he at least performed adequately during the current campaign while shouldering an enhanced defensive role. He played 50-plus percent of the defensive snaps in every outing between Weeks 14 and 17, providing him with his first four-game stretch with a majority defensive snap share since 2014. The 29-year-old defensive back has been unable to get back on the field since sustaining a groin injury during the Week 4 loss against his former team, Tennessee. Wreh-Wilson was not able to practice at all leading into Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, so the fact that he has been capable of logging back-to-back limited sessions suggests there is a chance of him being active when the Falcons take on the Rams' sixth-ranked passing attack in Week 7.

Wreh-Wilson has been ruled out for the Falcons' Week 6 matchup against the Cardinals, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
The veteran cornerback is in line to miss his second straight contest after playing on a combined 13 defensive snaps and 33 special teams plays between Weeks 1 and 4.
