Johnson (groin) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's Week 13 contest against San Francisco. Johnson sat out last week's win over Buffalo due to a groin injury, but he was able to log two full practice sessions this week. As such, he'll be able to suit up in a key NFC clash against the 49ers on Sunday. Johnson's presence will be a big boost to Philadelphia's offensive line against a 49ers defense that ranks second in the NFL in fewest rush yards allowed and 11th in sacks on the season.... Eagles' Lane Johnson: Injury not severe
Johnson (groin) is considered day-to-day after undergoing an MRI before Sunday's 37-34 overtime win over the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Johnson reported to team trainers he was feeling soreness Sunday, which led to an MRI and star offensive lineman being declared inactive for the Eagles' Week 12 victory. His day-to-day status is ultimately good news for Philadelphia and its offensive line, but it will currently leave him questionable for the team's Week 13 showdown against the 49ers. His practice status in the days ahead should offer better clarity on the four-time Pro Bowler's chances of suiting up in that contest.... See More ... See Less -
Eagles' Lane Johnson: Inactive Sunday
Johnson (groin) is out for Sunday's game against the Bills. The three-time All-Pro was a late addition to the injury report after telling the team he was experiencing soreness Sunday. Johnson has started all 10 of the Eagles' games this season. Jack Driscoll is next up on the right tackle depth chart.... See More ... See Less -
Eagles' Lane Johnson: Late add to injury report
Johnson (groin) is now questionable for Sunday against the Bills. Johnson's late addition to the injury report comes as a surprise and typically doesn't bode well for a player's potential to ultimately play. He notified the team he was experiencing soreness Sunday, and he's been receiving treatment from trainers since. He'll also undergo an MRI before the game, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com. The potential absence of the four-time Pro Bowl tackle would be a fairly significant blow to the Eagles offensive line.... See More ... See Less -
Eagles' Lane Johnson: Good to go vs. Dolphins
Johnson (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game versus Miami. Despite sustaining a sprained ankle less than a week ago, Johnson was a full participant at practice Friday, leaving no doubt he'll play in Week 7. He's a key cog on an offensive line that has basically allowed Philadelphia to run at will through six games in 2023.... See More ... See Less -
Eagles' Lane Johnson: Diagnosed with sprained ankle
Johnson has been diagnosed with a lateral ankle sprain, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Johnson was rolled up and had to leave Sunday's Week 6 game against the Jets. Jack Driscoll filled in at right tackle following Johnson's exit. Rapoport notes that Johnson is "in doubt" for Week 7 against the Dolphins on Sunday night but hasn't been counted out, and the injury is not believed to be a long-term issue.... See More ... Eagles' Lane Johnson: Won't return Week 6
Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's contest against the Jets. Johnson had his ankle rolled up on while making a block early in the first quarter, and he's since been ruled out from returning. The four-time Pro Bowler was replaced by Jack Driscoll at right tackle following his departure, and Driscoll would likely retain that role if Johnson has to miss additional time.... See More ... Eagles' Lane Johnson: Questionable to return
Johnson (ankle) is questionable to return to Philadelphia's game versus the Jets on Sunday. Johnson hurt his ankle during the team's first drive of the game and is now questionable to return. The 33-year-old will look to come back into the game but if he's unable to, Jack Driscoll will continue to fill in at right tackle.... See More ... See Less -
Eagles' Lane Johnson: Fully healthy
Johnson said Tuesday that he's fully recovered from his groin surgery, EJ Smith of The Inquirer reports. Johnson is healthy after undergoing a procedure to repair a torn adductor in his groin that he received after the Super Bowl. The 33-year-old should once again serve as the Eagles' starting right tackle and help protect Jalen Hurts this season.... See More ... See Less -
Eagles' Lane Johnson: Facing 10-to-12 week recovery
Johnson faces a 10-to-12-week recovery timetable after undergoing adductor surgery Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Johnson maintained an impressive level of play throughout the postseason despite having to manage a torn adductor, and it looks at though it will take until late April at the earliest for him to make a full recovery. Once healthy, the 32-year-old All-Pro right tackle will work to retain his high standard of performance for the 2023 campaign.... See More ... See Less
