  • Eagles' Lane Johnson: Making return to field Sunday

Johnson (groin) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's Week 13 contest against San Francisco. Johnson sat out last week's win over Buffalo due to a groin injury, but he was able to log two full practice sessions this week. As such, he'll be able to suit up in a key NFC clash against the 49ers on Sunday. Johnson's presence will be a big boost to Philadelphia's offensive line against a 49ers defense that ranks second in the NFL in fewest rush yards allowed and 11th in sacks on the season.

  • Eagles' Lane Johnson: Injury not severe

Johnson (groin) is considered day-to-day after undergoing an MRI before Sunday's 37-34 overtime win over the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Johnson reported to team trainers he was feeling soreness Sunday, which led to an MRI and star offensive lineman being declared inactive for the Eagles' Week 12 victory. His day-to-day status is ultimately good news for Philadelphia and its offensive line, but it will currently leave him questionable for the team's Week 13 showdown against the 49ers. His practice status in the days ahead should offer better clarity on the four-time Pro Bowler's chances of suiting up in that contest.

  • Eagles' Lane Johnson: Late add to injury report

Johnson (groin) is now questionable for Sunday against the Bills. Johnson's late addition to the injury report comes as a surprise and typically doesn't bode well for a player's potential to ultimately play. He notified the team he was experiencing soreness Sunday, and he's been receiving treatment from trainers since. He'll also undergo an MRI before the game, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com. The potential absence of the four-time Pro Bowl tackle would be a fairly significant blow to the Eagles offensive line.
