The Vikings aren’t as bad off as the Chargers (who have 18 players out for Friday’s game), but they have eight players who won't compete.
The Vikings who won't dress for the Chargers are TE John Carlson (knee), WR Kamar Jorden (broken hand), Geoff Schwartz (sports hernia), DT Letroy Guion (knee), RB Adrian Peterson (knee), CB Chris Cook (concussion), G Bridger Buche (knee) and FB Ryan D'Imperio.
D'Imperio is a surprise addition to the list of players not dressing for the game. There is no further information for his absence.
Injuries have forced two lineup changes. DT Fred Evans will start for Guion at NT, and CB Chris Carr will start for Cook. Also, expect CB Josh Robinson to see some action with the first team.
