No sooner did the Vikings announce their final 53-man roster on Friday then they started remaking it. The team acquired CB A.J. Jefferson in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals, according to NFL source.

The compensation offered by the Vikings is unknown, but draft picks are involved, according to Kent Somers of azcentral.com. There is no word yet from the Vikings on how Jefferson will fit into the team's newly minted roster.

The 24-year-old Jefferson (Fresno State) is in his third NFL season and was undrafted in 2010. In 16 games, Jefferson has seven starts, 66 tackles and an interception.
