The NFLPA is taking action against commissioner Roger Goodell as the union has filed a grievance challenging Goodell's authority to suspend Saints LB Jonathan Vilma and DE Will Smith, along with Packers DL Anthony Hargrove and Browns LB Scott Fujita, reports. The NFLPA filed the complaint to Buckley Briggs, the NFL’s vice president of labor arbitration and litigation, and Penn law school professor and arbitrator Stephen Burbank.
