Redskins coach Jay Gruden told reporters Monday the team is considering removing defensive tackle Barry Cofield from the short-term injured reserve list.
Cofield was placed on the short-term IR list in September after suffering a high ankle sprain Week 1 at Houston. The Redskins have until Wednesday to make the roster move.
