NFL 2022 roster cuts, additions: Live updates, latest news and rumors as all 32 teams finalize 53-man roster
Keep track of everything you need to know as NFL teams finalize their 53-man rosters
The NFL's deadline for trimming rosters has come and gone, with all 32 teams finalizing initial 53-man rosters Tuesday. Most clubs' moves were expected, but we also got a few surprises, like the Saints trading starting defensive back Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and the Raiders trading former starting cornerback Trayvon Mullen.
Plenty more moves could be on the horizon, whether via waivers or last-minute trades, but for the most part, Week 1 depth charts are now in order. A number of big names are also now available after failing to make their respective squads over the summer.
Make sure to check out all of our coverage of final cuts ahead of the 2022 season. You can review the biggest moves of the deadline with our live cuts tracker below, or check out the biggest names now on the market. We've also compiled a team-by-team guide separating all of the latest transactions by squad.
Cleveland announced its full 53-man roster.
Another good receiver now on the open market.
This is an interesting one. The Rams have been talking up Brycen Hopkins during camp, so I guess he beat out Harris.
Pretty surprising if this shakes out: Steelers keeping Steven Sims over Gunner Olszewski, who was signed this offseason from New England. Sims has played better in the preseason, making it harder for Pittsburgh possible waive him with hopes of stashing him on the practice squad.
Wow. New Vikings front office didn't like what the previous one did.
Pretty surprising cut, will be surprised if the Texans are able to get him on their practice squad.
Well, here's the answer.
This is interesting. Not sure what that means for the plan at safety.
The Cowboys waiving McKeon likely means they're keeping undrafted rookie Peyton Hendershot, which means it'll be two rookies (Hendershot and fourth-round pick Jake Ferguson) behind Dalton Schultz.
Oh wow. This is a player that will surely receive interest.
Rosen was unable to beat out Josh Dobbs for a spot on the Browns' 53-man roster.
This really shows how much has changed regarding the Steelers D-line in just one year. Pittsburgh has added a lot of depth to the room after struggling mightily against the run last year.
I'm going to guess he's claimed off waivers. Preston Williams was pushed down the Dolphins WR depth chart, but has shown potential in the past.
