At the end of Sunday's game, with the Patriots about to beat the Lions by 25 points, frustrated Detroit center Dominic Raiola intentionally dove at the knees of New England's Zach Moore because Raiola was upset with the Patriots.
That led Bill Belichick to quip, "Sure there was a lot of frustration there with Raiola. He's never beaten us. Tough day for him."
Turns out, Raiola also punched Moore in the back of the head a few plays earlier. Here's the video, via NESN's Doug Kyed (h/t to The Big Lead).
As you can see, Raiola is blocking Moore at the snap, and as Moore scoots past him, Raiola takes a shot at Moore's head, knocking him to the turf.
So, what kind of discipline can we expect for Raiola? Apparently, none from the Lions.
Caldwell said he talked to C Dominic Raiola, reminded him how the players should act. Team won't penalize Raiola, but league is reviewing.

Said Caldwell: "We don’t condone it. We addressed it. End of story."
