The absence of high-profile MLB prospects at Detroit’s rookie minicamp has allowed undrafted LB Ronnie Sneedto make the most of extended reps. Sneed’s college career didn’t feature many standout achievements, but his effort during Saturday’s workout included quality pass breakups. Sneed’s a longshot to make the roster, but his work ethic has caught the attention of coaches. If he can produce during workouts with Detroit’s veterans, Sneed could make a case for a practice squad spot.
