In an attempt to get down to 75 players by Monday’s 3 p.m. deadline, the Cowboys cut eight players Monday morning and moved three injured players off the roster as well.

Notable cuts: WR Raymond Radway (1st year) -- He never separated himself from the pack of young receivers vying for backup spots. A year ago, he was a lock to make the roster, but a broken leg he sustained on the final play of the preseason wiped out his rookie season. He wasn’t the same player this season.

Complete cut list

WR Radway (1st year, undrafted, Abilene Christian), PK Delbert Alvarado (1st year, undrafted, South Florida), OT Levy Adcock (rookie, undrafted, Oklahoma State), OT Tyrone Novikoff (rookie, undrafted, Idaho), CB C.J. Wilson (4th year, undrafted, Baylor), TE Harry Flaherty (1st year, undrafted, Princeton), RB Javarris Williams (1st year, 7th-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009), WR David Little (rookie, undrafted, Midwestern State).

The Cowboys also placed LB Caleb McSurdy (rookie, 7th round, Montana) and WR Donavon Kemp (rookie, undrafted, UTEP) on the waived/injured list. McSurdy tore his Achilles in practice two weeks ago and Kemp suffered a torn ACL last week. Both players will revert to injured reserve. Also, guard Kevin Kowalski (ankle) was moved to Reserve PUP and will miss the first six weeks of the season.
