NFL leading rusher C.J. Spiller has been carted off with an apparent shoulder injury. He went down after a hard tackle by Browns FS Usama Young, and the Bills later announced that he is out for the game.

The Bills are already missing first-string back Fred Jackson with a knee injury. Tashard Choice entered the game as Spiller's replacement.

Spiller, whose 24-yard gain off a screen pass was wiped out by a holding injury, entered the game with an average of 10.1 yards per carry.
