Defensive tackle Kyle Williams also saw time at fullback in the Bills’ win against the Cardinals on Sunday. Will he do the same against the Titans in Week 7? (US Presswire)

The Buffalo Bills have plenty of options to choose from in their backfield -- RBs Fred Jackson , C.J. Spiller , Tashard Choice ... and Kyle Williams ?

The two-time Pro Bowl DT found himself in a new role in Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals -- fullback. Williams lined up as a FB to help spring Jackson for the go-ahead touchdown with under a minute to go in the third quarter.

“We’ve actually been practicing it all regular season and really haven’t been put in that position,” Williams said. “Really, we’re down at the (1-yard line) for I guess the first time. The only other time was New England when we fumbled right there before half. We’ve been practicing it the whole time, got down there, we scored, neat deal. Fun to do something different. You know, it’s fun, kind of changes things up.”

The Bills started experimenting with Williams at FB in practices at the beginning of the regular season. It’s a role that he has some experience with. He was a FB early in his football career as a freshman in high school and claims to have scored “a bunch” of touchdowns on offense.

Williams was asked Thursday how many touches he’s received at practice.

“Not many. Let’s just say that,” he said. “And I don’t expect many either.”

So, in other words, it doesn’t look like the Bills have the second coming of William “Refrigerator” Perry on their team.

But Williams thinks he could handle such a role, if called upon.

“I’m not saying I couldn’t, I’m just saying I don’t see it happening,” Williams said. “Of course, if they hand me the ball and I [mess] something up, can you imagine how that would go? ‘Why are we giving him the ball? You’ve got Fred and C.J. and everybody else, why are you giving him the ball?’ I don’t want to bring that on anybody.”
