Georgia running back Todd Gurley was drafted by the Rams with the 10th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Gurley is an explosive, game-breaking playmaker, but CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco doesn't like the pick, giving it a C+ as a luxury pick of sorts.

"I don't think the Rams are in a spot to be able to take a back this high," Prisco said. "But then again it's Jeff Fisher. He loves to run it."

Gurley is the first running back taken in the first round of the NFL Draft since 2012 and the highest taken since Trent Richardson went third overall to the Browns that year.

Don't wanna say I called it, but I actually called it, predicting Jeff Fisher would double down and take Gurley with the 10th pick this year in my mock. It's my one saving grace, really.

I'd wholeheartedly disagree. The Rams have a setup with no real No. 1 wideout, Nick Foles at quarterback and need to be dominant in the run game. They have Zac Stacy and Tre Mason, but the reality is that Gurley, who is coming off an ACL injury he suffered in November while playing for the Bulldogs, is a much more dominant overall running back.

That's doesn't mean Stacy is happy about it.

The Rams are a dominant defensive team that's going to run the heck out of the ball behind what they hope is a rebuilt offensive line. Just the way Fisher wants it.
