  • Quenton Jackson: Let go by Chicago

Jackson was waived by the Bulls on Monday. Jackson joined Chicago on an Exhibit 10 contract in early September but was unable to secure a spot on the final roster. However, it's possible he will wind up in the G League for the start of the 2023-24 campaign.

  • Bulls' Quenton Jackson: Inks deal with Chicago

The Bulls signed Jackson to an Exhibit 10 contract Friday, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports. Jackson made nine appearances for Washington in 2022 and averaged 6.2 points and 1.7 assists in 15.0 minutes per game. Jackson's Exhibit 10 deal can easily be converted into a two-way contract, allowing him to split time between the NBA and G League.

  • Quenton Jackson: Let go by Washington

The Wizards waived Jackson on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Jackson, a 2022 undrafted free agent, appeared in nine NBA contests with the Wizards while under a two-way deal last year, averaging 6.2 points and 1.7 assists in 15.0 minutes per game. Washington traded Bradley Beal this offseason but added Jordan Poole, Tyus Jones, Landry Shamet and Bilal Coulibaly to a backcourt that also features former lottery picks Deni Avdija, Johnny Davis and Corey Kispert, so it's not surprising to see Jackson as the odd man out. The Texas A&M product will look for a new opportunity ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, but he'll likely have to settle for an Exhibit 10 deal.

Jackson posted 25 points (9-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and a block across 34 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over Texas. Jackson entered this game with just one double-double on the season, and there's no question this was his best performance of the campaign by a wide margin. Jackson has also scored at least 10 points in all but one of his last 11 outings.

Jackson had 19 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, five assists and five steals across 27 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over Austin. Jackson has proven he can perform adequately off the bench from time to time, but this was one of his best outings of the entire campaign since he led the team in scoring while also delivering value as a passer and on defense. He should continue to perform off the bench for Capital City, but he's not expected to jump into the starting unit any time soon.

Jackson was one of several Go-Go players that missed time due to a COVID-19 outbreak, but he was finally able to return to the hardwood here.
