Heat's Orlando Robinson: Expected to play Tuesday
Robinson (back) is probable for Tuesday's game against Orlando. Robinson sat out Sunday's 117-115 loss to the Pacers, but he likely wouldn't have been featured in the rotation even if available. The second-year center finds himself behind Bam Adebayo, Kevin Love and Thomas Bryant on the depth chart.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Unavailable Sunday
Robinson (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pacers. Robinson recently returned to the NBA club but will be unavailable Sunday. His absence shouldn't impact fantasy hoops.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Back to NBA
Miami recalled Robinson from the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Saturday. Robinson struggled offensively during Sioux Falls' G League playoff loss to the Oklahoma City Blue on Friday, scoring only nine points (4-14 FG) while committing a team-high four turnovers. However, he made an impact defensively by totaling eight boards, two steals and a block. With the Skyforce's season now over, Robinson will likely serve as a depth option for the Heat over the final week of the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Heads back to G League
The Heat assigned Robinson to the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Thursday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson will head back to the G League now that Kevin Love's (heel) return is imminent. Robinson should continue to receive increased playing time with Sioux Falls.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Back to NBA
Miami recalled Robinson from the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Wednesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson was assigned to the G League on Tuesday and posted 25 points and 12 rebounds in 33 minutes during the Sioux Falls Skyforce's 121-107 to the Memphis Hustle. With Miami dealing with numerous injuries, Robinson and Alondes Williams have joined the NBA squad and will be available for Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Plays 12 minutes in return
Robinson (back) tallied zero points, three rebounds and one assist across 12 minutes Thursday in the Heat's 103-97 loss to the Nuggets. Robinson had missed the Heat's previous three games while recovering from back spasms, but after being cleared ahead of Thursday's opening tip, he entered the Miami rotation as the primary backup to Bam Adebayo. Miami was without Kevin Love (heel) on Thursday and Thomas Bryant was out while serving the final game of his three-game suspension, so if both of the centers are back in action for Saturday's game against the Jazz, Robinson could drop out of the rotation.... Heat's Orlando Robinson: Cleared to play against Denver
Robinson (back) is available for Thursday's game against the Nuggets, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports. Robinson missed the last three games due to back spasms but will be back in action Thursday after being deemed probable for the matchup. Over his last four appearances, he's averaged 1.5 points in 2.3 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -

Heat's Orlando Robinson: Out Friday
Robinson (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Robinson was a late addition to the injury report with back spasms and will ultimately be sidelined. However, his absence shouldn't impact Miami's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Added to injury report
Robinson is questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans due to lower back spasms, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Robinson wasn't on Miami's initial injury report for Friday's matchup, but it's now unclear whether he'll be able to suit up. However, his status shouldn't impact the rotation.... See More ... Heat's Orlando Robinson: Sent to G League
The Heat assigned Robinson to the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Saturday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson has appeared in six games with the Heat so far in January but is averaging just 3.0 minutes per contest. He could be in store for more meaningful playing time while he's with the Skyforce.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Recalled to Miami
Miami recalled Robinson (ankle) from the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Saturday. On the heels of a 41-point eruption in Friday's G League win over Birmingham, Robinson will rejoin Miami in advance of Monday's game against Houston. The 23-year-old owns a minus-0.2 net rating across 214 minutes of NBA action this season.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Rejoins NBA squad
The Heat recalled Robinson from the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Monday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Miami is going to be shorthanded for Monday's game against the Clippers, so Robinson will provide some depth at the end of the bench. Robinson has made 13 appearances for Miami this season with averages of 6.1 points,f 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 16.2 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Headed to G League
The Heat assigned Robinson to the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Thursday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson has played just one total minute across Miami's last four contests, so his absence won't affect the team's rotation. The second-year big man should receive extended playing time while in the G League.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Returning to bench
Robinson will head to the bench with Bam Adebayo (hip) healthy and starting Monday against Minnesota. Robinson was functioning as a pseudo-starter across Miami's last five contests, averaging 4.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15.8 minutes per game. He'll return to backup duties Monday, forming a platoon with Kevin Love, and to a lesser extent Thomas Bryant, behind Adebayo.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Plays well in starting role
Robinson racked up 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes during Saturday's 144-129 loss to Indiana. Bam Adebayo missed Saturday's contest due to a hip injury, giving Robinson the chance to make his first start of the campaign. Robinson took advantage of the opportunity, posting a season-high point total on an efficient shooting line that including a perfect 2-for-2 mark from beyond the arc. The big man has drained all four of his three-point attempts this season and was a respectable but not prolific deep shooter in college, so it will be interesting to see how much of that is part of his NBA repertoire. With Adebayo ruled out until at least next Friday, Robinson should get an extended opportunity to make an impression for at least another game.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Struggles with efficiency
Robinson recorded seven points (2-7 FG, 3-5 FT), five rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one rebound in 16 minutes during Friday's 110-104 preseason loss to the Rockets. Robinson showcased his defensive potential Friday but struggled with his shooting. Robinson is expected to be the Heat's third-string center behind Bam Adebayo and Thomas Bryant this season.... See More ... See Less -
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Dominant against Bucks
Robinson recorded 25 points (8-17 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 9-12 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Thursday's 91-72 Summer League win over the Bucks. Robinson has arguably been the most impressive player for the Heat during the Summer League. Robinson played on a two-way contract with Miami in 2022-23, but he was recently signed to a standard two-year deal and it's easy to see why. This season, Robinson will be competing with Thomas Bryant for the backup center minutes behind Bam Adebayo.... See More ... See Less
